  5. Ughhhh.... Relationships can be so stressful. First as women I know we can tend to bare the brunt or responsibility and stress, without even being told. So I'd say don't automatically assume any additional stresses. Because your bf took a big paycut don't pick up any additional financial responsibilities. Trust me I've done this with my husband and it just gets worse. This is one reason me my husband have separate finances. I can easily graze all day if I allow myself. Maybe you can up your exercise to supplement your extra calorie intake? Or find some other activity to occupy your mind. However I feel the best option for you is to be honest let your bf know that his insecurities are really stressing you out and potentially ruining the relationship. This is something you should be very vocal about, don't do it durning a heated (argument) moment. I've noticed that a lot of time I expected my husband to know how i felt or why I was mad, this is unfair on my part. So I now am very detailed with my husband I tell him what bothers me, why it bothers me, and what I think can be done to aliviate my frustrations. Best of luck to you!!!

    Beer - Ouch

My husband accidentally bought me some wine with a little bit of carbonation. It just didn't sit well with me. I do drink wine and I will have an occasional vodka and cranberry. @ OTR....I wish my husband did t drink wine. I could totally have a bottle of wine last me for weeks, but since he feels the need to finish every bottle I open it doesn't last in my house. However my husband would ever admit this to his buddies... I would kill to guzzle an Amstel Light...
  7. Hello lisa... Great story. Any questions on your mind ask away. I'm 4.5 months post op -76 pounds down from my heighest weight is 298. No regrets, I feel great. This procedure has totally revamped my relationship with food. It is a process and it can be frustrating at times, but it is so worth it.

    Looking For New Ideas...

I love ceviche you can make it with pretty much anything, I love adding avacado in mine for an extra kick. I eat mine with crackers, but I'm sure it would be just as good with toast. It's pretty easy to cook, pretty much like juice with shrimp and onions, I'm sure if you google it you will find a more precise recipe. Also have you tried Mexican style shrimp cocktail? That's pretty good and nutritious. I also make shrimp and cheese taco on corn tortilla. I also make cajun pasta...which is seafood seasoned with Cajun spices and Alfredo sauce. I only eat the sauce and seafood....no pasta for me Hope this helps...

    Flatout Pizza

That looks soo good!!! I'm gonna try it out!!
  10. I think it is possible, not easy but it is indeed possible. First I would say that you will prob need to get out of your truck every so often and walk around, a bit. Second you will have to pack your protein to take with you on the road. Luckily they do sell ready made shakes that are pretty good. You cannot live on protein drinks so you will have to also incorporate better food choices. My number one fast food option in Wendy's chili you can have egg white omeletes for breakfast. Your biggest battle is that you won't really eat much of your food. You can however save them and eat it later if you don't mind cold food. Good luck to you!!!

    Pictures Of Makeup I Did

Your have got some talent there. I love it. I wish I could do my make up all the time. I just feel like make up can be time consuming, but I do love make up.
  21. Chicago here....but I love live New Orleans. Going down to spend Halloween there and I can't wait.
  22. Wow...I am so sorry that you are having all these complications. I once worked for a bariatric surgeon and we had a patient who was having crazy complications such as yours. For the life of him the doctor couldn't find anything wrong with this patient. Well the patient ended up going to University of Chicago and they found the problem and fixed it. The doctor was genuinely relieved that the patient was taken care of regardless Of the fact that the patient got treatment by someone else. Because of that I ended up going to university of Chicago for my surgery. So my recommendation is to go get a second opinion. Find the best of the best facility and go there. Seeing that you are in Michigan it may entail a trip else where, but at this point you really can't afford not to get a second opinion. Best of luck. Please keep us updated.
  23. My favorite.....thing has to be the way clothes fit me now. Wow clothes look so much better when your not super squeezing into them. My least favorite....hmm this is kind of hard, because I feel like tracking my food is such a drag and so is the 60-70 grams of Protein a day thing, but I do now how crucial they are to my success. So that's not gonna change anytime soon.
  24. I know I loved looking at pictures when I was just starting out or preop. Keep in mind that I still have a ways to go. My starting weight was 298 and I am currently at 224. The first two photos when I'm all in black are my preop. I hope they posted correctly.
