    vitamin crisis!

It's totally normal not being able to tolerate them, especially post op. I now just take a double dose of gummy vitamins. It is not uncommon for people to have this problem, so talk to your surgical team and see what options are available to you.

In before the newbies take it over

@ Katie, I do not drink any Protein. I only eat solid Proteins, I've done this pretty consistently since 2nd month post op. for a while I was constantly fatigued, but within the last few months my energy level is thru the roof. My weight loss is about a pound a week if I'm lucky. I was at 1200 calories, but i stick to my low carb I can easily get it 800 calories and meet my protein. I've noticed that I was snacking a lot, so I've been able to eliminate the snacking at work, I just gotta get a handle on the evening snacking. I've gone to far to go soft on myself now. It's just a matter of kicking up my activity. It's all about establishing healthy habits, and sticking to them. I like to tackle one thin at a time, so my focus for the next 2 weeks its all about kicking up my physical activity.

So when can we officially consider our selves sleeve veterans? I am just about 10 months out. Anyhow about getting back on track, I'm with you there. I did notice when I add just the tiniest bit of carbs to Breakfast my day is downhill from there. I usually have 2 boiled egg whites and 2 small turkey sausage. Yes it's boring but it works and it keeps me on track. My downfall is exercise. I always use the excuse that I work full time and go to school. Never mind this semester I'm full time as far as school to. So I'm usually running around like a mad woman. However this semester I added an exercise class and I have to go 4 days a week and I will be graded on this class, so I hope this will help my transition back into the physical fitness routine.

    Welcome

Speaking of plastic surgery. I was pretty positive and upbeat about my sleeve. The whole plastics thing, really scares me. I would love to get a thigh lift, but the thought of putting my body through all of that for cosmetic surgery freaks me out. I know the whole factor of the end results are worth it and all, maybe I just need time to wrap my mind around this. I will wait at least a whole year after I get to goal, maybe my skin will bounce back even if just a little bit.

    PCOS sisterhood.

I am 9 months post op. I am on the pill and prior to surgery would only get my period may 1 out of thee months and they would be more like spotting than a period. Since the surgery my periods have came every month, but I am still on the pill. I am not tryin to get pregnant so going off the pill to check my cycle is not an option. I do notice that my facial hair growth is greatly reduced. I would say that it's about 70% less. Also my skin has pretty much cleared up. I guess I would have to be retested via blood work when I go get my check up with my obgyn.

    Local Y, or Curves?

From my understanding curves can be limiting time wise and is more geared towards beginners. They are both good options and you should maybe take a tour of them both and choose whatever option works best for you.

You look great!!! Keep up the good work.
  22. Try getting a second opinion?? It really is not normal that you throw up that much. Just because your doctor doesn't find anything wrong doesn't mean there isn't anything wrong. Maybe you need a fresh set of eyes to check everything out for you. I would go to a university which has an established bariatric program. Good luck and please keep us posted.
