Ok so I eat 1100 calories a day and I work out everyday, but have not lost weight in months. In fact I gained 5lbs, am I eating too few calories? I'm not sure but I need help quick!!!

I don`t know what it is about winter, but every year I go through the same thing. As soon as the cold weather hits my exercise routine goes in the dumps. So I've decided to get an exercise machine for home, so on those cold days when I don't feel like braving the cold (everyday lately) I can still get my workout in. Wish me luck!

I went to the doctors today and gained 5lbs. That hit me hard like if I was just going to gain it all back:-(

Thanks ladies,, I'm not sure what was going on but the next day I was down 3lbs. My plan is to go back to the gym, I was working out 6 days a week and went down to 2 or 3. Just need to get back into my old working out frame of mind.

I went shopping for my trip and kept going to the plus size section of all the stores. Only nothing fit, wow what a wonderful feeling! My husband asked me why I keep going there and I said ” I guess my brain hasn't caught up with my body!” Loving the new me.

I understand how you feel. I have had 25lbs to go for the last month and a half to reach goal, and no movement on that damn scale. It gets tough but I know if I made it this fat I can do it. I just joined myfitnesspal to journal/track my food and exercise, I tend to do better when I do this. I also have family/friends who say they do better when that track. Keep your head up and good luck;-)

That is so true, yesterday was a "mental hunger" type of day, and today not so much. So some days are definitely harder than others for me too. -

OK, so I have been hitting the gym hard since a month before my surgery and loving it. About 4 weeks ago I was really sick and didn't go to the gym at all that week. The next week I hurt my foot and couldn't even wear shoes, the third week I went on vacation and the fourth week I just didn't feel like going. It is really killing me inside, how can it take 30 days to form a habit but just moments to break one! Well I finally got back into gear this week by doing weight training at home and going to Zumba. I'm just hoping I can get back that passion for hitting the gym again and putting in a hard workout!

I also find that if I wake up in the middle of the night I have a strong urge to munch. I try to keep a cup of water next to the bed and if I wake up I drink it right away, then I feel full and it usually cuts the craving off (but not always lol.)
