could i possibly have a kidney stone or something else?
Law Bandster replied to Erin18's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I've read the entire forum, and I'm not sure if I have UTI. I had a CBC done yesterday, and got a shot in the but to fight any infections, but the results came back normal. No infections at all, yet i still have lower abdominal pain. The pain usually comes and goes, more so when I eat or drink. What does the lower abdomen have to do with the band located above the stomach? As I'm typing I can feel the pain, sharp pains at the lower left area, sometimes along the belly button. I did have a problem with Water. I would drink maybe a cup or two a day. I hope I dont have a kidney stone! -
Stretched pouch? need a Fill?
Law Bandster replied to leftover_eidoes's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have this similar issue. I actually came online after a long time to see if anyone has the same problems. I have been feeling pains in my lower left stomach area. I had an xray of the pouch done a few months ago and it was somewhat stretched. Not by much, but enough to concern me. I believe the issue is over tightening. The entry is too small so the pouch expands to accommodate the food. Do you have stomach pains? Not like cramps, but pains. -
hahahaha.. thats funny! I live on westheimer around Fondren. I usually workout with a good friend of mine, he's insane. Also, my timing is never set becauase of school so I can't actually set dates. I wouldn't mind meeting up to hangout and chat..

What happened to the Houston group that we created who met up in Memorial? It's like the people disappear after one visit. Would anyone like to meet up in Houston just to kick back and enjoy a nice New York Strip SteaK?:thumbup:

He's right. Isopure is one of the best shakes. The powder actually has every minimal carbs, calories, and fat and is loaded with Vitamins and minerals. You would only need this if you are not eating meats or if you are working out. Now as to lose skin.. I HATE IT! I can't wait till i finish school, then im going to do a complete transformation.. Tummy, chest, the works!!!

Hi everyone! So I've hit 168 pounds! I took my mom to visit the doctor so she can also get the surgery! I enjoy playing racquetball and golf. If you haven't tried a sport like racquetball i say go for it! It is a very intense sport and you can really maintain your weight or even shed the pounds. Anyone from Houston?

Info. on Dr. Spivak or Dr. Garth Davis in Houston?
Law Bandster replied to 2befree's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Hi! I had the best experience pre and post surgery. Dr. Spivak's staff members have been very supportive throughout the entire operation, and have continued to give support even after surgery. They even played a special request song prior to the operation! PM me if you have any other questions. -

What is your cardio of choice?
Law Bandster replied to areellady's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I try to use the elliptical machine for about 25-30 mins. After that, I lift various weights. I try to shuffle different parts of the body. One day back and legs, or chest and arms, or shoulders. It has allowed me to define my body better, and also to see greater results. When I worked out in the past, I would gain weight, but it was due to muscle, and it discouraged me. Eventually, it lead to me gaining all the weight I had lost back again. Now, I know for a fact, through body fat monitoring, and also through the use of my friend (the band) that I am in fact gaining muscle and not fat. This has allowed me to attend the gym more often, and to see better results in my weight loss. The gym is your friend, it will never let you down.
