I can't wait to buy something a little more feminine, if only just for myself. Wish we had Victoria's Secret here in Australia though.

Can't Get Enough Water/protein In... Tips?
Nessa1977 replied to pandee04's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm too struggling with my Water intake. I'm currently managing only 1lt (33fl oz) and I'm supposed to be having 2lt (67fl oz). I drink from a 1lt water bottle with just a touch of either lemon juice or cordial to help it go down a bit easier. Plain water just doesn't taste right anymore. Protein wise, also not enough. Must rectify both of these. -
Did Anyone Not Do A Leak Test?

Uh oh! I've been to NY a few times and my arrival to the city always coincides with 9/11...freaky. You'll be right on the OF. No one is perfect (even if they say they are). Maybe you can have grilled fish with vegies or salad with dressing on the side?

How Long After Sleeve Surgery Did You Complete Plastic Surgery?
Nessa1977 replied to JamaicanGirl2011's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I've so far lost 50ish pounds in 2 and a bit months. I saw my surgeon for a check up the other day and he says I'm looking younger (bless him). I told him the wrinkles have not set in yet due to the weight loss, though I'm hoping I won't have any. I too am already looking into surgery and sussing out surgeons in my area that do the procedures, as I know I'll need to get something done. I think I'll wait a year post reaching my goal weight, though that might change when the time comes. I'm already saving money...I'm even forgoing a trip to the US next year *cries* -
Mine are quite large and didn't start taking them until 2 weeks post op after I got the OK from the dietician. I take these daily: http://www.cenovis.com.au/once-daily-womens-multi

Although I've never had anything major go on down there, on the odd occasion I do find that I get a bit smelly down there. I also get to the point where I have to scratch so much, more during shower time, that I end up scratching away skin and bleeding. I also use a product called Femfresh (I'm sure you have similar in the US) (http://www.femfresh.com.au/) and use the wipes for a quick freshen up. I agree about the hairdryer to dry the area, but careful not to hold too close...ouchies. Ah, the joys of being a woman.

My surgeon has a thing about my boobs. When I saw him at my last appointment when I finalised everything for the op, he asked if I had put on weight (I probably did) as my boobs looked bigger. I just laughed him off and said it was a good bra. Then upon exiting the room, he said that I'll lose them (I'm a DD/E cup) with the weight, to which I replied that I'll just replace them. I saw him the other day for 2 and a bit month post op review and said that my boobs haven't gotten any smaller (which they haven't, as I'm still same band/cup size). Your thoughts?
-
No he's not...fully clothed. First post op review, he only looked at my wounds and yesterday didn't even examine. No other doctor in my town who does the surgery, if things came to that. And yes, the girls will be/are heading south, but they have been for years.

If I do stay anything, I don't want to be awkward at future visits. I'll see if I can suss out some of his other patients from another forum.
-
No, not really, just wish he wouldn't each time he sees me. My sister said I should say something.

Married with I think 2 kids and 41 LOL. He actually told me his age yesterday because he initially thought I was older than I was and now says I look as though I'm in my late 20's (bless him). His pic is on the profile (see clinic link in my sig), but he doesn't look like that LOL. I work in a hospital myself and deal with a lot of the doctors. Not many good looking doctors, but there's a yummy physiotherapist that us women perv on LOL.

I had my period at the time of the op (thank GOD it wasn't a heavy one) and the next 2 following op were fine yet I'm now 2 weeks overdue with this cycle, with only a tiny amount of spotting. I feel crampy, but nothing happening. Might ask my GP about it but she'll probably dismiss it.

Another 21kg loser here! I saw my surgeon yesterday, 10 weeks post op. 21kg includes my 2 weeks pre surgery. Last time I lost that much, it took me a year. This is awesome. Everyday is still a learning process as to what I can and can't eat. I still need to train myself to eat slowly and chew thoroughly.
