Wow 23lbs is awesome! Your doing the right thing try new foods you other wise wouldn't have tried. I want to use this sleeve to leave some foods behind forever, that is my goal at least. -

Yes, this has definitely happened to me. I tried to have all of my favorite foods up until the night before my fast. I had actually put on 4lbs doing it!. But now I am on my last day of my 8 day fast and I have dropped 7lbs. Tomorrow is my day and I am so ready! -
That is sweet, she has an awesome support system. Now that the surgery is over I know she will do well. praying for a speedy recovery

Nov 6th, still nervous but so ready. I have all of my support system on stand by and ready. It was extra hard this weekend being on liquids with everyone here eating! But I survived it thank goodness, so ready for today to be over. -
If your looking for a good protien you could do beans blended. Do you like beans?

I don't think I am , I am suppose to drink 5 Protein shakes and can't seem to find one I like enough to drink it. I do plan on posting from the hospital I am taking my laptop. For my Dr he normally has us do a two day stay in the hospital after surgery. So I will definitely keep you updated on my progress. -

I'm HUNGRY! I will be so glad when the pre-op diet is over I won't know what to do. I will be happy when 11/6 gets here. I am a little anxious but definitley not going to change my mind I have come to far for that. -
This is nice to hear...I am getting really nervous for my up coming surgery which is just this Tuesday. I am hoping I have the same experience as you do.

I only had to do a week of the pre-op liquid diet. I am down 4lbs already since Tuesday and really looking forward to 11/6. It took the first two days to really get into the swing of things and not think about how hungry I am constantly. Now it's no big deal, I know what's waiting for me at the end of the tunnel and I can't wait!

Hi my Nov people, I will be sleeved on 11/6 and I am on my liquid pre-op now. My insurance was pretty quick it took about a month from my first Dr visit to receive approval from the Ins and my surgery date. I am getting really nervous. @Tatylish I see your on the same day as me, please keep in touch and let me know how your doing. Liquid consist of: low sodium broth SFJello SF popsicle Muscle milk light protien shakes Water

You get to have food? Wow I wish, I will be sleeved on 11/6 and I am on strict liquids for 7 days. Good luck with your surgery and I wish you the best. -

Well my surgery is coming really soon and I can tell you your not the only one having these feelings. But I know it will be worth it. It took me 3yrs to commit and to take the jump and now I am happy that I did. Thing have gone so smooth that I know this is for me -

My surgery is 11/6 as well, great question I was wondering about that too -
congrats, mmy insurance is the same way but my DR did not make me do supervised visits. Basically it took a month from the time I had my appt and got approved from the insurance and had a surgery date. But congrats and I hope you have your sugery date soon!
