You are absolutely right! I lay in bed sometimes and hear the gurgles etc.. and my hubby look at me and say really? I just laugh and say yes would you prefer it this way or out the other end? Take your poison...LOL!
-
Yes it does become second nature now even when I go out, I drink until my food come and then get my water In a to go truck so that when I can drink I can. It's just a process and when you do it long enough it's nothing.

Juny I am sorry to hear that your going through this. It's hard enough with the stress of the upcoming surgery. You have us for your support, and yes your not asking for permission this is something that is personal and yes your going to have those that don't agree but that's on them. My family thought I was going to change my mind and when that wonderful day of 11/6 got here they quickly changed their tune and supported me. Stay on your path and let no one stop you from your goal!

It will be over before you know it, and it's all worth it! Good luck on your surgery and your recovery oh and welcome to the other side of the fence!

Hi Denise your still on soft foods? I am currently on Phase III one week from Phase 4. Currently I still drink my Protein shakes. Breakfast, I will either do a Protein shake, or 1 egg scrambled soft with cheese and a morning star sausage pattie (10gm of protein). I try to get in milk as well since it's 8 gm of protein. If I have to have a snack I do yogurt. lunch I stick to any type of fish, chicken salad, turkey burger etc... dinner same thing but I try to incorporate a veggie like broccoli, green Beans, squash, sweet potato etc.. Good luck on your journey it gets easier and the sooner you start eating regular food the more your sleeve will start to tolerate it and the better you will be. Also the quicker you will start loosing, currently I am doing about 1 to 2lbs a week and i am happy with that. -

Just make sure your getting in your Protein and liquids you will see a change shortly. I am at the end of my 5th week and I have had two stalls so far. I just put my scale up on the shelf and kept it moving, I will not let those numbers define me. I'll take the inches anytime! -
Yes, and you will continue to have it after each milestone. But just know you will hit that mile stone, please don't let it stress you. You will have some stalls along the way I had one in week 3 and then in week 4 I began to move again. When you hit your stalls it's either your not getting in enough Protein or your not getting in enough liquids. Modify it and you will be fine, good luck on your journey!

12/10- Run 5K within 45mins: I am officially 5 weeks out today, I have planned for my first workout session starting tomorrow. I don't want to put a time limit on how long I walk. I am just going to walk until I get tired and go from there -

We are the same, I was sleeved 11/6 and I am officially today down 25lbs since surgery. I had a stall in week 3 and I know there will be other stalls but I know in the end this was the best decision for me. I haven't started exercising yet but I will begin this Monday I think it's time good luck!
