Every time I look around or ask around everyone in post-op status has a slightly different post-op diet. Although everyone starts with clear liquids, some start full liquids just a few days after discharge, where others remain on it for over a week. The inconsistency just confirms that there is no real guideline. It's more like a preference of the facility.
