    Pain

I was only nauseated right out of surgery, but I was so doped up I hardly remember it. I remember asking for medicine for it, but my eyes were closed and it didn't feel like it lasted long at all.

    Exercise Question

Do you have a nutritionist? If so, maybe go back to him/her for advice on how to up it without increasing the volume.

    Exercise Question

I believe it's your calories in versus calories out. You might consider trying to find a way to eat more calories in a sitting and not necessarily more food to get your calorie intake up. This is what I struggle with too. I'm still losing, but just not as quickly as I'd like.

    Exercise Question

Um, 33 lbs in two months is incredible. I am 4 mos out and have just lost 56 lbs. You will most likely surpass this at your rate. Loss and the rate of it also depends on your starting weight and how much you have to lose. Don't get caught up in comparing yourself with other WL patients. I did this too and soon realized that I was happy with my loss and needed to focus on myself and not what others were doing. I agree you need to stck with exercise and change it up. Also watch your sodium intake too. Do you log your food and exercises? If not, you might want to consider doing so. You might not be eating enough for the calories you are burning and this can slow your weight loss down considerably.

    Exercise Question

What is slow? When was your surgery and how much have you lost?
  6. I have a thyroid problem. I still have it, but it's essentially non-functioning. I take daily thyroid medicine. I had the sleeve on March 13th and have lost 55 lbs (starting weight was 243). It's a non-issue as long as you stay on top of your medicine.
  7. Welcome to the losers bench. Did you do your revision in one surgery? Why did you decide to do the revision? Where did you have your sleeve? Wouldn't that be sonething, getting too skinny?
  8. You are getting close. The first 3 days were the hardest for me on pre-op. Once you get past this though it's not so hard.
  9. Not close, but still a fellow Texan. Yee Haw!
  10. I totally agree. I had an appointment at my gym to go over the weight equipment and meet with the trainers there yesterday. As luck would have it I was called to jury duty and it ran past the time of my appointment. I keep trying to make this stinkin' appointment and something always gets in the way. This will be my goal in to do by the end of the month for sure. Going on vacation next week so it will have to wait (again).
  11. I go to the YMCA mostly, but did order some Zumba DVD's on line at Zumba.com and have done them too. They are really good The set is called EXHILERATE. My Dr is Terry Scarborough with Texas Laproscopic Center of Houston or TLC Surgery. Are you in Houston too?
  12. I was sleeved in Houston, Tx (also where I live). Here is my work out schedule: Monday-Zumba Tuesday-Zumba Wednesday-Spinning or 10 mile bike ride in my neighborhood Thursday-Jogging on a treadmill Friday-off Saturday-Zumba Sunday-off or Zumba on DVD or Jogging on the treadmill Can you tell I've gotten addicted to Zumba? I have also gotten addicted to working out and feel guilty if I don't. which is a far cry to my lack of exercise before the surgery. How about you?
  13. Me too. We are sleeve sisters. We are also close to the same size starting and current. Crazy!
  14. I would be happy in this range too I guess. I just have it in my head that I want to lose 100 lbs. I'm just not sure it's doable for my frame.
  15. What was your surgery date?
