WOW!!!! Awesome job!

I can't wait to say I weigh 156. The smaller you are, the harder it is to lose. 1 lb for you, is probably the equivalent of 3 lbs for someone else. Great job!

Wow! 4 lbs in one week is awesome. I've only had a few weeks where I saw that kind of loss and I know how good it feels. Congrats!

3 less pounds you'll never see again. Great job!

So I guess July 7th was the last time I weighed in. I was on vacation July 13-22 so I missed a few weigh-ins. I don't know what is going on with my body because lately I have been losing weight at a rapid loss (I'm not complaining). Anyway, at first I thought it could be Water retention, but then I have been at this same weight all week. I feel like if it were water, I would have regained by now. However, I did cut my salt intake considerably (maybe I had been holding on to extra water all along) and upped my Protein (80 grams) and my water (80 oz per day). If this is what's working I will keep doing it. SW: 243.6 Last weigh in: 189.6 CW: 178.6 11 lbs in 3 Saturdays and 65lbs overall! Woo! Hoo!

I was able to opt out of suggested ads. I can't remember step by step, but beside the ads there is an arrow. If you click on this it opens up Google directions and tells you how to opt out.

I don't have Dr Yu, but I did use Dr Scarborough in the same practice TLC surgery and loved him. The staff has been very helpful as well. I am 4 1/2 months post op.

jhansen71 replied to jhansen71's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had no loss in the 1st weigh in and I cannot weigh in on Monday because I'll be out of town. I am so excited to be off my stall so I decided to go ahead and post an early weigh in. Today I weighed 186.4. I lost 4 lbs. WOO HOO! 11.4 more to go in 6 weeks. I can do it. Please baby Jesus no stalls! -

What is your ultimate weight loss goal? What is your frame size: small, medium or large? What was your starting weight? What is your current weight? How many months/weeks post op are you? What weights has your body stalled? Has your weight loss slowed? If so, at what month and how much? My weight loss goal is around 140 although I am not sure how realistic this is considering my large frame. I wear a size 11 shoe and my hands are so large I can actually palm a basketball. I'm like a puppy with large paws that never grew into the right size. Ha! Maybe that's why I was fat, I just never grew vertical enough? Anyway, my starting weight was 243.6 and my current weight is 189.6. I'm 4 mos post op. So far my body wanted to hang on to the 200 mark and now the 189 mark (been here for over a week despite working out and eating right every day). I've had 4 pretty substantial stalls and am averaging 8-10 lbs loss per month. I'm interested to see if I have similarities with others experiences. I want to know if my goal is too ambitious and to find out if I'm on target with the rate of loss that others my height are experiencing. I'd love to hear from you.

I'm getting close to a 12. I'd say in about 7 lbs I'll be there. I'll be 180 in 7 more pounds. I know every body type is different, but maybe this might help as a starting goal. -
