Once I click on the picture, do I choose, follow posts by this user? Is that how you keep up with other people? I do not see an option for a friend request.

How to you view someone's profile. Gosh, I feel like an idiot.

Yes!!! I'm only two weeks out, but I cannot drink more than 3 sips of water at a time and it takes me all day to get one shake down. I'm weak and worried about getting enough nutrients. I'm for sure not getting enough water in. Every day is a struggle.

Congrats on your first step to the new you. I am finishing up my second week being sleeved. I'm down 13 lbs since the surgery and 25lbs overall including the 2 week pre-op diet. Good luck and happy healing! -
How do you follow people? I've wondered how to do this. I'm fairly new to this site. Sleeved on the 13th.

I only posted once, not sure why it posted so many times. Sorry about that! -
12 Days Post Op And I Have A Rash

I had a rash too, but it was the same week that I came home from the hospital. I was sleeved the 13th. It was from the medical tape. You could be allergic to rubber gloves, tape or anything your dr may have used when examining you. You can develop an allergy at any time. I hope this helps. -

I'm so weak. Is this normal? Up until today I have been getting about 50 grams of protein and 48 oz of water. Today, I felt so bad (achy and weak) that I could barely get down 1 protein shake and only 32 oz of water. I have no fever and no pain. I just feel soooooo weak. Anyone experience this? Is this normal? How long will it last? I'm praying I feel better tomorrow, but would love some reassurance and any tips.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm drinking protein drinks from my surgeon and I get about 27 grams of protein from each shake.

I just went through a revision surgery to have my band removed and converted to the sleeve. I did not have much success with the band and found that most healthy foods I ate got stuck on the band. Ails never found the sweet spot (the perfect fill) and am unsure such a thing really exists. I am only 1 week post op, but I already feel that this will be a good solution for me. Good luck with your decision.

I haven't lost any weight. I'm having a difficult time getting all my water in as well as my protein. I set the timer for every 15 minutes and fill full to the rim. Is this normal? I'm full of gas too so I think this is why I feel so full. Taking Gas X, etc. Physically I feel like I've lost weight, but the scale doesn't reflect it. Why??? I met someone on here that had the surgery the same day as me and has already lost 11 lbs. Am I doing something wrong? Any words of encouragement or wisdom is greatly appreciated.

Thanks JLWEB. It's hard not to weigh.

Thanks. I'm really worried about getting a blood clot so every little pain has me a little freaked out. I had no gas to speak of until today and I'm hoping that is what I am experiencing. Pain under my arms, pain in my lower back, stomach gurgling and some pain when I breath in and out. I can still take a deep breath with no problem, but I am achy and my lower back is killing me.

Thanks so much!

I also had my sleeve on the 13th and felt great yesterday. Today I woke up and my lower back is hurting with the occasional pain by my shoulder blade. Should I be worried about this?

I am female, 5'5" tall and want to know what a good goal weight should be for myself (realistic). The reason I am having a problem with figuring this out is because I am big boned. I know, I know, you haven't heard that before, but really I am. I'm like a puppy that never grew into the large feet and hands that I have. I wear a size 11 shoe and I can palm a basketball. I am the shortest person in my family. My dad is 6'3", my brother is 6'5", my mom is 5'8". Anyone out there my height or taller with the same problem that might have a rule of thumb they use or maybe hit goal? I go into surgery on Tuesday and would love some guidance on a goal to aim for. This is a great success story. Congrats!!!
