    Breakfast - 5oz yogurt lunch - 1/2c turkey meatloaf, 1/4c mashed yams, 1/8c broccoli dinner - 3/4c chicken chili, 1tbsp fat free shredded cheddar, 5 tortilla chips, 1tbsp hot salsa Dessert - 1/2 slice of lemon raspberry cheesecake (tasted yummy..     Accountability

    Didn't have dinner til super late tonight (10:30pm). Not the best idea I know. Tomorrow is treat day (going to allow myself a piece of cheesecake) so definitely going to make sure to get on the elliptical tomorrow.     Thank you! It's a fight but I'm trying my best. Good news -- weighed myself this morning and I am OVERWEIGHT!!! My BM is now below 30. So I decided to treat myself. lol. Went to Sports Authority and bought myself a new Nike outfit to work out in. Bought my sister and I tickets to a Kathy Griffin show. And I emailed a wonderful (though pricey) local photographer and asked her if she would be able to take professional photos of me. I told myself when I lost 100lbs I would get photos done and I am excited We all deserve to Celebrate our victories. Breakfast - 4oz yogurt, 1/2 banana lunch - 1 wheat pita with 2tbsp Peanut Butter, 1/2 banana sliced dinner - 1/2c turkey meatloaf, 1/4c mashed sweet potato, 1/4c steamed broccoli snack - 3 strawberries, 6oz vanilla yogurt Tea, fat free hot chocolate, Water, 8oz skim milk Exercise - 30 min elliptical

    Thank you ladies. I went to the gym tonight which lifted my spirits a little but. Heather, I feel your pain.. This time of year is always the hardest for me.     I have been battling some depression the past couple of days. I am terrified of relapsing back into old habits. My exercise hasn't been that great and I didn't do any today :-/ I am not feeling like my usual upbeat bandster, appreciate any prayers.     I didn't do very well today. It was a result of poor planning.. Not listening to my body..Running around all day, not packing a lunch, then eating something unhealthy at a restaurant. Ugh!! Feeling crappy! Just packed my lunch for tomorrow (half turkey sandwich and veggies) and will be doing cardio in a few minutes. Seeing my trainer on Monday thank god!     Need Help With Cravings!!

    I picked up some Nestle fat free hot chocolate today and it is pretty yummy. You add it to 6oz of hot water, and it's only 20 calories. I recommend it! Satisfies a bit of that sweet tooth.

  12. First of all, congrats on having a workout routine and sticking to it. That's half the battle! I agree that you are probably losing inches even if its not reflected on the scale as quickly as you'd like. My doctor had suggested to me when I hit a plateau that I needed to change the order of my exercise. For example, if you do cardio first then weights, flip it. When was the last time you tried a new machine at the gym or a new class? I'm sure your trainers can help you mix it up. Also, after my plateau I found upping my fluids and eating "cleaner", less processed foods worked wonders. Keep us posted!

    Lazy Lazy!

    Hi Bre! Missed ya! I know where you're coming from. I recently started a new job and life is so much busier now. However, you must make the time for yourself! It's great your hubby came up with a routine for you, but I think you'd feel more motivated to do a work out that doesn't feel so much like a work out to you. How about trying Zumba, Water aerobics or kickboxing? On the days I feel lazy, i save my favorite TV show to watch while I will do the Wii free step. I find that having cute clothes to work out in, good quality headphones, and a playlist with a bunch of new songs helps me stay motivated. You got this, girl!!!

    Six Flags

    I went to an amusement park this summer for the first time in years, and was able to fit on every ride! Funny how something so simple can be a dream come true for many of us, huh? I got a little emotional just walking into the park that day. LOL! I am 5'9", and weighed about 240 at the time. Carry most of my weight in my hips and thighs. I think you will be ok.

    Sit-Ups/crunches

    I can also always feel my port. The more weight I lose, the more prominent it is under my skin. Sit ups were painful for me up until 5 months post op. i think I'm weird. LOL. My doctor has given me the "ok" now but I proceed with caution. She said occasional port soreness is normal, especially after ab work outs so you may need to ice the area afterwards. Take it very slow and if it starts to hurt, stop and listen to your body.

    Need Help With Cravings!!

    Are you exercising? Activity is every bit as important to this journey as the food you put into your body. If you are, that's great! You will probably need to add 5 or 10 minutes to your work out, switch up the order of your routine, or increase intensity. I hit a plateau a few weeks ago and my doctor suggested adding variety to my diet and exercise. That worked for me. There is nothing wrong with occasional chocolate. However if your craving for it is increasing, you just may not be able to eat it for the time being. There are certain foods I know could trigger me, so I try to avoid them or only eat them when I am out (like a restaurant or friend's house) so I am not tempted to binge privately. If it is the sweetness you are craving, how about vanilla yogurt with some fresh fruit sliced into it? Or just a glass of skim milk for a snack? Stay strong.

    I Am On My 1St Day Of Pre-Op Diet!

    Just wanted to congratulate you all on beginning the lapband journey. I love my band and my new life. The pre op diet can be brutal (mentally and physically) but it will all be worth it in the end! Hang in there guys.
