    I was a newbie last year. I have lost 100lbs in a yr with my Lapband and I've now had a knee replacement done so I can walk. I no longer take blood pressure meds so I want to say it was well worth it and I'd do it again. Good luck.

    I am new to this site, & I am about to embark on this journey with my surgery scheduled for March 26th. And I'd love any input from those that are about to begin the journey as well as those who have embraced it. Anyone have any ideas on protein drinks? Clear liquids? Beginning the 12th I must begin my preop diet. Any help is greatly appreciated.
