Littlemiss, everything went well. I haven't had too many problems. My blood sugar levels have been really good over the past few days & I'm not even on meds...yay! I have had a few complications, but nothing to worry about too much... My potassium levels were down & my white blood cells count was/is elevated. They gave me meds for the potassium issue, but they haven't done much for the white blood cell problem. Also, my blood levels dropped this morning but I'm anemic...so that's not uncommon. Anyway, I'm doing great! The only physical pain that I feel is coming from the incision with the drain. I will feel much better when that is removed. All in all, I can't complain! The hospital staff is fabulous!!! I'm just ready to go home. I have to repeat my labs at noon, and if all is well I can go home...yay!!! Although, I am not in a rush. I want everything to be on point before I leave. Please overlook any grammatical errors. I just took my pain medication. Take care & thanks for checking on me. Little Bits

    Today Is The Day!

Everything went well. Honestly, so far, it hasn't been too bad. I'm starving. I could only have ice chips all day yesterday. The gas pain was horrific, but (tmi) I had a bm almost immediately so that subsided. The incision with the drain was/is the most painful. Fortunately, most of my pain has come from this stupid IV. I didn't get in a whole lot of walking yesterday, because I was so nauseous. However, I have been getting my walking in since earlier this morning...I haven't gotten much sleep. I suspect that I won't need very much pain medicine today, because I am starting to feel a lot better. I can't go home until Thursday...my doctor decided that before I came here. The hospital staff is awesome, so I don't mind staying. Thanks for all of the well wishes!!! You have no idea how much they help!!! Little Bits

    June Sleevers!

Thanks, I was a nervous wreck! No, I wasn't driving!!! Sn: That scares me, but lots of vloggers tend to record while they are driving. That's a bit much for me. I recorded it in the car for two reasons. First, I kept being a chicken about making the video. I pulled into my driveway & said it's now or never...so, I just did it. Secondly, the lighting is much better!!! (Plus, it was easier b/c my tripod hasn't arrived yet.) Little Bits
