  1. To be honest i never tried it. It could however. My mum and aunty had the surgery a few years before me and with me being only 20 when i had it they had alot to teach. They say your body goes into shock and tries to hold onto everything it can in the begginning. Hence the stalling or plauting. Try changing foods. Let me know how it goes.
  2. Great Question, didnt realise everyone thinks this aswell. My family and friends dont understand why i cant see how much weight i have lost
  3. This is great i will try something like that. 2 family members have had the surgery but so far im the only one with these issues
  4. Hi I have just turned 21 and had my surgery last august so about 6 months out now. I went through a stage where everything was fine (between 4-5 months) And now even simple things like steamed fish and fresh meat i cant even keep down or gives me nausea. I have lost 35 kgs to date and saw my surgeon a week ago and he said i have not lost enough. im 165cm and now 75kgs. To make things worse i have been having anaphylaxis reactions the past few months so are unable to take multi vitimins until i see a specilist. (luckly this isnt affecting my bloods to much yet) Sorry to rant on just my family is sick of hearing about it and my friends wont take a bar of it. They seem to think i shouldn't complain because of the weight i have lost but there is such a down side to it. Will never regret this decision though.
  5. Yes i get this. I have been told it is reflux which is very common after the sleeve. Try speaking with you doctor or surgeon
  6. Hi, this is normal, i stalled at about 3 1/2 months and then lost another 15kg. What my mum always told me to.. you wont loose weight you loose size. You will see what i mean. Dont worry your body will start loosing again soon

    I Find The Operation Stupid

Im sorry i cant understand why you would want to eat a cheese burger in the first place. You had the surgery to live a healthy life (right?, or was it just for looks) not still eat the same old things. And as for your comment.. "i thought the concept of the operation is to eat anything i want in small portions. ".. well yeah eventually you can, however WHY WOULD YOU? Your only 7 weeks i still even now 6 mnths out cant eat a cheese burger and there are day where even the best foods i eat i cant even keep down.
  8. Hi, i had my surgery almost 6 mnths ago and started lossing my hair 2 months ago. I just want to say it does get better mine has started to slow down already and my mum who had a gastric bypass 3 years ago said the same thing all hers has grown back and you would have never known.
