    Day 2 of pre-op diet is HARD! I'm having hunger pains, a headache and mood swings. Around 2:30 pm I was ready to rip someone's head off. Woosah!!! Had to step outside for some fresh air and to collect myself. Geesh..

    My surgery is April 11 too. I am nervous as well. Now that April is finally here, it is starting to hit me...I'm REALLY going to have wls. Wow!! I start my pre-op diet today so that has me on edge too.

    SexySlim, I live in Landover, MD too!!! So exciting to find a neighbor on these site I will be sleeved on April 11 by Dr. Garcia in Tijuana, Mexico. I would like to stay in contact with you. It would be nice to share our experiences and perhaps even do a workout together one day. Hope your recovery is going well.

    Met with my PCP and NUT yesterday. Both were pleased with my progress. Down 3 lbs since last visit. Yay! I start the pre-op diet on Sunday. Starting to get excited for my sleeve!!!

    @Thefenixrd .. Thank you for the words of comfort. You will have your surgery the day after me. So, I will probably see you in the hospital!! Dr. Garcia is doing my sleeve also. How cool. I pray the surgery will be a successful remedy for your health conditions. You made a good point about the battle with emotional eating. That's one of the reasons I have decided to seek counseling to help me cope with the upcoming changes.

    I'm scheduled for April 11 with Dr. Garcia in TJ, Mexico. I'm ready but currently in a 'food funeral' phase. I start the pre-op diet on March 29. I'm worried I won't be able to stick with it. I have cheated before on all my previous diet attempts. I hoping the fear of surgery complications will motivate me to remain deligent and focused. I have wanted this surgery for several years. It's surreal that in less than 20 day, it will be reality!

    I start the pre-op diet on April 1. I'm excited yet a part of me is sad to say goodbye to my favorite indulges (sweet treats). I have gained 3 lbs. Sigh. Gotta get back on track!

    I lost 7 lbs in one week! Started eating half portions and stopping eating late at night. What a difference. Gearing up for surgery. Less than 30 days away!!!!

    Thank you all for the well wishes! I'm so excited. I decided to tell my job I need the days to help care for my sister who is having surgery. My sister and I are getting sleeved on the same day :-) I loved the suggestion to say 'female surgery or gallbladder surgery' but I actually just had female surgery this past October. So, I don't want to go back down that road with my employer/co-workers. That's the main reason why I don't want to mention the sleeve surgery at all because I have only been back on my job for 3 months. I know my boss will be fine with me taking some days off to care for a family member. Good luck to you all on the weight loss journey! Share your pics and success tips

    The nutritionist I was seeing last year has agreed to provide me with pre and post sleeve counseling upon my return from Mexico. It's all coming together! Hallelujah :-)

    Congratulations on your success! Your story is so inspiring to me. I am having sleeve surgery on April 11 and my current weight is 317. Your weight loss goal is the same as mine (175 lbs). It is so encouraging to see someone who has already accomplished what I desire to do. It lets me know it is possible for me to lose that amount of weight (100+).
