Wondering When My Weight Loss Will Kick In.
sentos posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was sleeved on March 22. To date, I have gone from 244 down to 217. Most people would be thrilled with that but I'm not. The day that I was sleeved, I weighed 228. I was losing more without the sleeve. I have experienced the most painful constipation known to man! I don't know why I'm not losing. Can anyone help me figure out why? -

Thank you for the encouragement. I have been becoming really depressed. I don't want to be an emotional eater. -

I have been following my doctor's orders as closely as possible. I walk and log my food. I have a hard time with the protein. I'm very frustrated because I want to lose weight and I'm not. -
We were sleeved on the same day. I haven't even noticed the bm being missed. That's a great lose. I am down 25# but that's including my pre op diet.
-
I am so hungry. I am 9 days post op and starving! I'm feeling frustrated today because I want solid food! Ugh!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to check in and say I'm doing well. Dr. Almanza did a great job. I'm confirming my realization that I'm an emotional eater. Fear of messing up keeps me from giving into it. Hope everyone is doing well! Oh and I'm down 8# since my surgery. 24# total! Praise God!

I'm On My Way To Be Sleeved Today!
sentos replied to Caradina's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I do recommend liquids as long as humanly possible. They used very little gas on me. I do however feel like I should feel full and I don't. -
I was sleeved on the 22nd. I am still hungry. I can drink fluids with no problem. That scares me. What could be wrong or is this normal?

I'm On My Way To Be Sleeved Today!
sentos replied to Caradina's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I got sleeved yesterday by Dr. Almanza. He did a fantastic job. I only experienced slight discomfort. I'm so pleased with my decision. -
Good Morning everyone! This is the day that the Lord has made. I WILL rejoice and be glad in it! God has blessed me with the resources necessary to pay for my sleeve. I am so thankful that I will be traveling into Mexico this morning to have my sleeve done. I'm thanking my Heavenly Father for safe travel, compentant doctors and hospital staff, a swift recovery and last but certainly not least, weight loss that will motivate myself as well as others. I am thankful for the improvements in my health and to my self esteem. I am thankful that the quality of life for myself and my family can only get better than it already is. I love You Lord! I am so thankful!

No I have not seen them elsewhere BUT I was flying to san Diego to have my surgery and in the skymall magazine, they had quite a few options. They were in 3oz vials and had lots of protein. 100 calories. Go to skymall.com and see what you think.
