  1. Jessica, in regards to your post op marriage question... This has been one of the toughest years of our marriage. I'm not sure if its directly related to the surgery but I'm certain it's part of it. My wife hasn't acted too jealous but did ask if I was going to leave her when I lost a bunch of weight. I think for us, I've changed a lot as a person and that has been hard for her to adjust. I'm more confident and assertive than ever and that has caused a lot of tension because she is very strong willed. Put two very strong willed people together and conflict is bound to ensue. Fortunately for us divorce will never be an option. So we have to take the hard road of learning to give up our way at least 50% of the time. With kids it's more like 95% I hope things get better for you.

Dating and letting them know you had surgery

If it were me, I wouldn't actively seek to share or hide that bit of information. I'm a super open person and and I find that it comes up naturally in conversations all the time. For me, I wouldn't want to be with somebody that couldn't handle being with a sleever. Truthfully, I wouldn't respect them as a person.
  3. What a transformation! You look incredible.
  4. Wow. You have an amazing figure! Nothing to be self conscious about. Wow.

    Any Sacramento area sleevers?

Looked it up and it's open to one and all. I think I'll try to make the next one in May.

    Any Sacramento area sleevers?

Is it open to people who didn't do surgery through Sutter?

Roseville. Wish there was a local sleeve support group.

    Toleraring Water

I was a big water drinker before my surgery. It took me a good 6 weeks before I could drink it without a weird pain/queasy sensation. Before that I had to mix in a little crystal light. In the last few days (8 weeks post op now) I've been able to chug a little bit. Experiment with the water temperature, ice cold works best for me but some had theirs warm.
  9. I think some guys are embarrassed to complain. I know I don't like to. Some of us prefer to bottle it up and appear "stronger" or more macho. Probably not the healthiest thing to do.
  10. This was my 2nd plateau (stalled the 3rd week) but it finally ended today! Hope yours ends soon.
  11. I'm going on 2 weeks no net loss (7.5 weeks out). I'm soooooo frustrated. I know it's normal and I know the weight will drop again, it still sucks!

    Omg My Tastes Buds Change

Yeah I felt the same for the first 4 weeks. I was drinking a lot of skim milk.
  13. You can buy protein shots at gnc and online. I just bought some but haven't tried one yet. I'll try to report back when I do.
  14. I didn't have KP but I'd be surprised with your high blood pressure and bmi over 40 that you would get denied.

    I Can Drink Water Again!

I tried all temperatures: cold, ice cold, warm, hot, room. They all made me feel equally gross.
