I've got a diamond anniversary ring hubs gave me on our 10th wedding anniversary that needs a diamond replaced. Going to do that and have the prongs and such checked. It is a bit too small. I can get it on, but it's snug. I thought about resizing it, but I know the weight is coming off so I'll wear a snug ring just to see how long it takes to get looser on my finger! BTW we will celebrate our 25th this July 11....wow that's about 1/2 of my life! I've got a good-un too! My best friend and soul mate he is!!!

Did you chew, chew, chew? It should be fine. I don't know how nutritious the lunchmeat is. I am 10 days out and eat 2oz. of rotisserie turkey breast and I am fine!

Only my husband, daughters and a select few friends know. The reason, I don't want to feel like I am under the microscope! Some people would sit back and say, "My, she looks horrible" or "I don't see her loosing at all" and the like! My life is an open book and I have always been the "tell all" kind of person, but not this time. I tell you it's the hardest thing I have ever done. My biggest surprise was when I told my mother in law. My God she is the greatest cook! and deserts! WOW I started out by saying I need to tell you something and I need your support. I don't have much family and I need you to support me. I explained the surgery. She knows I have battled my weight for the past 10 years. She thought I wouldn't be able to eat anymore! I said, "just in smaller amounts" and believe it or not yesterday she told me to take care of myself. It blew me away because we have had some stormy days in our relationship... and today I get a get well card in the mail from her! Totally blew me away! God is Great!!! Blessings~Melanie:)

Welcome "Fellow Kentuckian"... I agree with the suggestion of staying at the stage you are now if you are having a difficult time getting in especially your protein. Of course water is important as well. You don't want to get dehydrated. I suggest trying different protein products. I spent over $100.00 on Mercola: http://proteinpowder.mercola.com/pure-protein.html It is Organic and I really liked it before surgery and now am having a hard time drinking it. Right now I am drinking the EAS shakes, but they can get so costly. I am eating pureed food, so able to get in some protein eating. Rotisserie Turkey breast today! Best of luck to you and I hope you find something soon that works. The folks here have been so helpful and that is such a Blessing! Melanie:)

How Long From Start To Surgery Date?
Meljp replied to mikemeg316's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It really all depends on your insurance. I was very fortunate as it was exactly one month from seminar to surgery! I am 9 days post op and doing great! Best of Luck in everything along the way! Blessings~Melanie:) -

Meljp replied to VJSlim's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am with Sleeve of Steel on this subject. Just like diet soda's, low fat and no fat are full of toxic stuff.
