Hello Everyone! I was banded on the 4th, I've lost 20 pounds since surgery and 31 all together. I'm on the mushy diet, and I'm so over it. On a good note, I walked on the treadmill for 55 minutes (just over 2.5 miles) today!!! -
I'm very sorry for your loss. I was also banded on the 4th with the goal of losing weight to have a baby. I have a child now, but my weight is a problem while TTC again. I wish you the very best, and pray that you become pregnant easily when you start trying.

I'm sitting at a ping pong tournament ( lame I know) and EVERYONE is eating the free pizza! Hardiest day ever! I can't wait to be on mushies, only 5 more days.

My surgery was the 4th and I can't start until next Thursday, jealous!

Yeah, mine had a much bigger incision. -
Yeah, pre surgery the docs scale made me at least 2 pounds heavier than my home one.

I was off clear liquids yesterday, tomato soup tastes like heaven!

I have to cook for my husband and son. It's not easy but I try and think about other things or leave the room. Tonight I made my husband a buffalo chicken calzone, it was really hard to watch him eat that.

Had my first post op appointment, lost 11 lbs in a week!

I was glad I brought my own slippers, I hated those socks the hospital gave me.

I'm newly banded but I would say that isn't a good idea. The sodium in those are usually sky high. I got some low sodium instant broth packets that smell just like roman noodles, it tasted great by the way.

Felt good yesterday, last night was hard (the bed was very uncomfortable and I like to sleep on my side which I coudn't). But I feel pretty good today, walking around, trying to get rid of any gas and also, trying to eat. I can't tell if I'm hungry or having gas pains it's odd.

I have to be there 8:30, surgery probably around 10. I can't wait!!!

I'm going to the grocery store tomorrow, what should I have in the house for my recovery? The only thing I have is GasX.

My date changed again, back to the 4th!!! I just got back from signing all my papers, paying my fee and having my last weigh in! I'm excited but I did have a little moment of panic when I got in the car, but it's passed.

They changed my date to the 5th, only a 1 day move but it's still sucky!

What hospital are you going to? I'm going to be at Mather in Port Jefferson.
