    Pregnancy And The Band

She didn't ask about the wait time. It's her life and she can wait or not wait, it's her choice. I've not been pregnant with the band, but it's my main reason to get the band (a healthly life for my son and the ability to have another child), so I can't get you any real life experience. That said, I look at my weight loss journey as a life long thing, I have the rest of my life to lose the baby weight but not as many years to have children. I hope that helps a little.

    Lapband Pregnancy

Mine said it didn't matter when I got pregnant, but tell them and they will remove the fluid when needed. I'm only 2 months out but we are hoping to start trying in May so I will be 8 months out.

    October 2012 Bandsters

At about two or three weeks post op I stopped losing also. I think I was taking in to few calories, once I started solids and took in more calories I started to lose again. But I stayed the same weight for 2-3 weeks before it started to come off again. As for the hunger, is it boredom or actual hunger? I have found that a lot of times I'm not actually hungry and if I go do something that takes my mind off food then the pains go away and I forget about it.

    October 2012 Bandsters

I didn't ask him, I assume from the answers I gave him about my hunger and my steady weight loss he felt I didn't need it. I was kinda wondering if anyone else with a plication had already had a fill and how they felt before vs after. Also, I got the plication because it was offered by my surgeron for free and I figured it couldn't hurt to have another tool to help with my weight loss.

I saw the doc today, but didn't get a fill. I have the plication so maybe I don't need as many fills?
