I am not sure if I am tired or if it is lack of motivation or if I am letting life get in the way. I am 10 months out...and it feels like my body is fighting me to exercise. I have no energy, no desire....and have no clue where it went. I use to sweat and bust my butt now it is like I barely can do 30 minutes. Please tell me this is a phase.... I am on B12, so I am getting that. How do I get my motivation back? Where did it go? I still have 40lbs to go......

Maybe that is what it is..... Maybe i'm not drinking enough. Oh I have the heart, I didn't get big overnight. Just trying too figure out what had changed.... Where did the drive go? Where did the at any cost workout go? Maybe I am putting my life ahead of myself..... You know sometimes your mind gets you more worked up than anything....

I started fitness bootcamp and not sure if I need to continue my walking since I am getting my cardio and weights in at the same time. I am 6months out and feel like my body is used to the walking I have been doing that for years. Lol So, I started bootcamp to shake things up a bit. When is the exercise your doing considered enough? When is it not? I don't want a lazy workout, I want to be doing something I can get results and be proud of doing. I hope that makes sense.

I think I need a therapist now. lol I have that Umpa Lumpa feeling. I guess it is the whole weight loss and people noticing thing. I feel the top half of my body shrinking, boobs are gone, I have a collar bone now. But, as far as my middle second stomach/thigh region I feel that it sticks out more now than it ever did. I don't know if i am doing something wrong or if it just has to work its way down. I was under the impression that walking would work the middle before the top. I think I am just mentally psyching myself out. I just hope I am doing everything right.

Not Loosing Weight!
Branhardin replied to ButterflyGirl's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Don't be discouraged, trust me. Been there and still get that way. I hit a stall about week 3 and felt like it took FOREVER to get past. Take a deep breath and go one step at a time. I had to start treating each day with a new attitude. I only weigh on Mondays and log my exercise. That is where I put my focus now. Trying to get a little bit further everytime. what you dont see on the scale is inchs. I measure those monthly. Just to make sure I am doing "it" right. Lol Keep your head up and think positive. -
Update 11 Weeks Today!
Branhardin replied to 2bfit's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thank you for your post. I have seen post of people losing 20 pounds at a time and was getting so worried that i was doing something wrong. I guess every so often you need to come across someone who has either walked the path your on or is just a few steps ahead of you. I had my surgery on Jan 16th, so you are just a few steps ahead of me. Thanks again for posting. -
Well, had my Dr. Appointment Dec 21, 2011. I was 294 pounds. Wow! He does not expect/forsee any issues. He did look at my history and sad that since I gain weight quickly I get to do 14 days of Nutrimed. Get my weight down before surgery. 1 week of Nurtimed down. I was STARVING the first 5 days..lol Still hungry but not as bad. I have found if I eat when I think my stomach is about to growl it seems to last a bit longer. I know it is all in my head but whatever works. I have got my kidos squared away and as far as taking off work..I can only do what I can. I am so nervous I could throw up! I don't know why just nervous. Can I really do this? Is this really happening? How is life going to be at a healthy weight? Will I be able to run? Can I go on Fair/Carnival rides with my kids? Scared ME.

Hi Everyone, My first blog about my Journey. I am so excited! Well lets see. I have been battling the bulge as an adult forever. Seriously, within the past 5 years. At my highest weight I was at 330 back in 2006. That was my slap in the face. I had no idea. I worked my rear off and got down to 290ish before I ever went back to the doctor. Then the scale stopped! What I mean as in the scale was not moving it was not going anywhere. I was up to 3 miles @ 3.5 mph, walking fast, jogging a little for months, this was about 4-5 times a week. No soda, no coffee, no candy.. nothing. I hit that brick wall hard! Went to my PCP and he put me on prescriptions. Did those for 6 months at a time for the next 3-4 years. The first go around was great lost 40 lbs. But, sure enough within 2-3 months there it was with avengence. Same thing again the next year. This last year I told my PCP this was it..I could not do this every year. And, we decided that i would do one more 6 month physician evaluation period and if I was not happy he would have no trouble helping me explore bariatric surgery. Well, I looked at my two page spread on what my insurance wanted and got very discouraged. Didn't know what I had done what I needed to do. Came across a great nurse who helped me translate the red tape and come to find out I had done everything already just needed a note from my doctor about me not being crazy. REALLY! That's it. My insurance approved it first try. No anxiety, no frustration. That wonderful nurse told me right before Christmas I had been APPROVED!! OMG! What to do What to do.
