i can keep everything down. but im not drinking as much as i think im suppose too. what i was taught to do is finish 1oz of liquid over a 15minute period. i find that if i dont do that, my chest starts to hurt. &according to my weight, i should be getting 80grams of protein in a day. but its looking more like 40gramd right now. -

had my surgery on monday too & no BM yet. I have the same problem with not feeling full. but then again. i'm not starving either. i'm starting to think im just over-thinking it . . . -
paper says u need any chewable multivitamin & chewable calcium it says centrum multivitamin chewables & viactiv vitamin chewables are recommended

sooooo, my dr. appointment went well! i have a little while to loose 5-10lbs before surgery. we're waiting on my insurance to approve the surgery, then i can set a date. my surgeon is saying the earliest time for surgery approval could be end of april-beginning of may! really excited!!! I'm SOOO excited, i'm not even worried about the 5-10lbs lol

ok... 1st dr. appointment tomorrow. so far, I have finished all of my pre-op appointments. hoping i can get a date or at least a time frame for my surgery. i can't wait to start my post-op journey!!!!

thank you for all of the helpful responses everyone! shells, I'm planning on telling my teachers as well. But I have been contemplating about telling them about the vsg part. i kind of wanted to just say "i'm going to be having surgery." So far, only 2 people know about my vsg mainly because I'm kind of afraid of anyone judging me. If i do tell my teachers, I hope to God they don't think anything of it! -
so, 100lbs lighter is my GOAL! i have yet to get a date from my surgeon so i'm super excited & anxious to get going since i think about it all the time,i was wondering, how long did it take YOU to get down 100lbs? just curious, i know it differs from person to person.

i just turned 21 in november. & what changed my mind was feeling so unhappy with how i looked & felt about myself on that BIG day. even though it was a day that was suppose to be about celebrating my 21years of life, i felt so unsatisfied about the point i had come to (which was 266 lbs at the age f 21) after all of the failed attempts of dieting. it was then that i promised myself that i would be healthy and happy by my next birthday. i say, go for it! it's hard for us young people to stay grounded when we're at this age. & with surgery, i personally feel like it's a big push in the right direction & it will aid in defeating these temptations. good luck in your decision! -
hey everyone i have an orientation on the 19th of this month! however im pretty set on getting the sleeve. i've invested a lot of time in researching the surgery. So i've built up a lot of impatience! anyone care to share their timeline of the whole process?
