My husband and i had the surgery. I jokingly called my husband the healthiest fat person alive !lol but he knew eventually the issues would come pouring in ! He weighed what you weigh and is 5'6" tall. He has now lost 60 pounds since surgery and never regrets!!! its smart to have this surgery before more bodily damage is done by weight. I on the other hand had every health issue known to man! He saw me and never wanted to be in my situation.

Hi everyone! Im wondering if im a slow loser. I had my surgery march 6th and weighed in at 311 pounds. As of april 16th i weigh 264. My husband has lost over 60 pounds and we had surgery the same day! I know guys are suppose to lose faster but im feeling like i cant even keep up with him! :-( its made me think maybe im not doing something right. I eat the same stuff he eats and walk 11/2 miles a day and he doesnt walk at all! I dont know what i can do to lose weight faster to catch up. :-(

I know how you feel!!! The shakes made me gag and turn my stomach! Hang in there! Ur in the 2nd hardest phase! But soon you will be able to get your protein with foods. I went and got some new whey 40 grams of protein shots that are 3 oz at vitamin store and ate that with some greek yogart. But spread the shot out during the day if you go that rout. It made me feel crappy if i drank it in one sitting. Yuck! Just the thought of a protein shake makes me gag!!! You are almost outta the shakes phase, then on to better things! Lol

Sleeved Today 04/09 And Ouch!

Dont be scared! I had to stay longer then i was suppose to in the hospital. I couldnt drink either. But what helped me was the nurse gave me crystal light to drink and i would put a little ice to make it cool. Warm water or any temp water made me sick! But crystal light went down nicely. G2 helped too. I was very scared at first but i promise you, every day gets better! It really does! -
Awesome tips yall! Its rare when i eat out, its nice to have choices! I wasnt sure what to get or my options :-)
