Thank you for believing me. I was shocked that people would even think I was lying. What would I gain? I own a Health Insurance Agency and I have helped a lot of people get this surgery by selling plans that cover this surgery. It was a difficult task & few companies covered this. Some companies would pay for the surgery but If you were overweight they would not insure you. Catch 22. I helped them. To this day they thank me for saving their life. I am the only one that I know about that had complications. Me, who helps everyone gets it. Then for people to think I am lying, need attention, am a troll.... makes me see & understand why obesity makes a lot of people so mean spirited. Reckon it's part of the illness. I am not mean spirited but I can/will defend myself when I am attacked. I can go up one side & down the other & smile, Simply, because I know the truth. I never 'go off' on anyone without a reason. I think you are right. 1. I am not a troll & don't even know what a troll is. 2. It was the Hospital that almost killed me, not the surgery. 3. I had the same surgery as my sister. She lost 100 lbs in 1 year. ATTN: CONSIDERING THIS SURGERY Please... have someone stay with you the entire time so that this won't happen to you.

PLEASE...Just have someone the entire time in the hospital. I honestly thought I would be in good hands as a patient in the hospital. My sister wanted to stay with me but I told her to go home because I would be fine. She had the same surgery, same Doctor and went to work in 3 days. She lost 100 lbs in one year. She want fm size 18 to size 2, 3, 4, 5. I really think the hospital is to blame but because the Doctor did not tell me or mention what happened caused me to question him & that is why I sued him too. The Doctor never saw me again. I think he got scared.

The Sheriff has the 911 calls. He said I need to subpoena them if i want them. The Lawyers that made up the Med Rev Panel said I did not need an attorney. Now I need a Lawyer. I can't supoena the 911 calls without it. I believe Medical Care is going to kill a lot of us when the baby boomers start dying. As it is, Doctors/Nurses are already over worked & under paid. No Unions in Louisiana. No Retirement Plans for these people. Image lines of people wraped around hospitals waiting to get in. We are going to be treated like cattle. That is just my opinion for the future if they don't prepare for us now. Thank you for your time. You are the most logical of all.

Thank You Sister! The last 3 insurance commissioners fm Louisiana went to prison. One of our Governers just got out of prison. They are about to indict the last Mayor. Congressmen fm Louisiana are doing time. They make laws & change them making money each & every time then back stab the people who paid them. Falsafying Medical Records, obstruction justice, is nothing down here. Our Sheriff was forced to resign because he got caught driving one of the stolen Cadilliac's 6 months after Katrina. ROAD HOME? LOL One company made $500k fm Fema just for picking up trash. Who you think he paid to get that job? I could write a book on corruption. Every tried to read your HOMEOWNERS POLICY. Corruption USA. It is written to confuse you. The lay out, the words, etc. So confusing it had Judges ripping each others robes off after katrina. LOUISIANA DOES NOT HAVE PUNITIVE DAMAGES. ASK YOUR LAWYER.... Then you will believe me.

NO, I did not want pro bono. I can't get any Louisiana Lawyer to take this case but I am still trying. If I have too, I will try to get a Pro Bono Lawyer then i will donate the money to charity. I own an Insurance Agency. I have helped a lot of people get this surgery. I still get calls fm women/men thanking me for saving their life. The moral to my story is: IF YOU HAVE THIS SURGERY.... Make Sure Someone Spends The Night With You. That's my opinion. That's where I made my mistake that could have cost my life.

Amazing how many people trash me because i'm angry because the surgery did not work, I can't eat, I am still fat and I am out of the $15,000 cash that I paid. Not to mention the hundreds on Rx and vitamins and $350 for my medical records. Then I get thrown under the bus by this Louisiana Medical Review Panel. Today, I told my story on this site & got trashed like a sneakly, lying, scum. Poof!

That is the reason why I sued the Doctor. I asked him to call me, to tell me what happened. He did not call so I waited to the last day then filed the suit. He is so cute. I never wanted to sue him. I wanted to find out what happened & why. He did not even come to my hospital room. He did not even check me out on my 2 week visit. His nurse Holly checked me out. I asked her what happened. She said I was bleeding internally, thats why I was in so much pain. She said, Girl you were gone for 3 days. We didn't think you were coming back. she said, This has never happened before. she said, The lost 1 patient and he died months later fm other complications, not the surgery. I go to Cozumel often but I only stay a few hours. I found a place to do botox but they are not much cheaper than USA. Thank you for your comment and support.

Thank You.... At last, I found someone that can validate my story. Been fighting these people all day long. They think i am some nut that needs attention. Came to this site thinking i could get some info and support. Another mistake. The Doctor did the same surgery for my sister. This is how we knew something was still wrong when I came home. I vomited everytime I ate. I still vomit almost everytime I eat, unless I take one bite. My sister lost 100 lbs in one year. She went to another hospital, Not St.Eliz. If you have this surgery, just make someone stay all day/night with you. I was bleeding to death & could not get anyone to help me. If someone was with me... they would have ran down the hall to get the Nurses.

1. I can't find a Lawyer in Louisiana to take this case because they said it is too hard to prove MP It cost too much, It takes too long & there is no serious damage. If I lost a limb, became paralyzed or had any physical damage, then they would take this case. 2. If I can't get a Lawyer to take this case then I would like to get a Pro Bono Lawyer and donate the money to a charity. 3. i just don't want the lying Doctors, Hospital & Lawyers to get away with this. 4. I am more angry at the review panel for lying thru their teeth. 5. I am not trying to get anything that does not rightfully belong to me. 6. I am not lying about one thing. 7. Ask your Lawyer if they would take this case. Make sure they know about LA Law. I guarantee they would tell you the same thing. 8. You have to understand Louisiana Law. If this was a BS slip n fall case, there would be a line of Lawyers wanting the case. If this was an auto accident. They would send you to their Doctors, The more you go to a doctor, the more money they get. With my case...they would have to work too much & it's not worth their time. IN FRONT OF GOD...THIS IS THE TRUTH. I use caps a lot because i wear glasses. Glasses off when caps on. Sorry if that offends anyone. I'm not screaming.

WHAT WOULD I HAVE TO GAIN BY LYING? THIS SURGERY WORKS. IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME & I AM ONLY TRYING TO FIND OUT WHY. I PUT IT ON HOLD UNTIL THE MED. REV. PANEL SAID THE HOSPITAL & DOCTOR DID NOTHING WRONG. THEY LIED.

Sweetie, I do not need attention. All I did was post my story, today. First time since June 10, 2010. I don't go around people that knew me when I was young & thin. I know what they say & think. One friend looked at me and said, "It's ok, you are still beautiful." I wanted to die. he was saying, it's ok that you got fat but... Grrrrrrr People say, you had the surgery? Obviously it did not work. People are mean to fat people. It's true. I know it. I know how it feels. My favorite reply is... Guess What? This Big Fatty don't even want you. You got turned down by a Big Fatty. Grrrrrrrrrr If there are holes in my story... it's simply because I have jumped fm one scene to another. I have truthfully answered everyone's question & have been commended, insulted, accused of lying, etc. All I did today was try to tell my story. I regret posting on this page. All I did was offend people. Imagine how I feel being victimized once again. I can handle it. I'm a survivor. Didn't get to where I am staying home eating bon bons. yes, my daughter is an attorney. She has a JD. She is studying International Law in England. She does not want to practice law in Louisiana. Even though she graduated fm Loyola Law School in LA. She can't help me with malpractice in Louisiana. 5 Law firms turned down this case because it will cost too much money to prove malpractice & they are personal friends but it's business. Not enough money. No permanent damage done to get the money card. If I got paralyzed, lost a limb... they would take the case.

One would like to think that they are "in good hands" when they are a patient in a hospital. After all that is the place where Ambulances rush people to when they need medical help. Not a hater. Fed up with lies & deception.

The only fishy thing is what really happened to me & why. Still, I do not know. They put what they want in medical records. They are well trained by Doctors & Staff before they write.

DUE TO THIS... I GOT PSTD. Bought all new clothes, size 4, then 6, then 8m, 10, 13, 14, 16, 18. Then had the surgery. HAPPY NOW. I DON'T NEED CHARITY. PRO BONO & THEY CAN HAVE IT ALL TO GIVE TO A CHARITY. THAT'S WHAT I SAID. WHEW.... YOU PEOPLE ARE TOO MUCH. MY CRIPPLED BROTHER GOT RIPPED OFF OF $91K BY A MAN POSING AS A LICENSED CONTRACTOR & THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS LET HIM GO.

I want to answer all of your questions. I do not take any Rx at all. I use to take Rx for depression but that made me sleep more. i do not use illegal drugs. I use to smoke pot when i was young. I do not drink. Not even sip champagne. I DO SUFFER FM DEPRESSION Can't find the right Rx to help. The inability to make noise but you had a phone to bang up agianst the bars - but if you were out of it enough and panicking. I was too weak to scream & could hardly talk. I tried to hit the hospital table with the phone but was too weak. It did not make enough noise fm my room to the nurse's station. Believe me when i tell you I was in so much pain I wanted to die. It felt like cars were rolling on my stomach...non stop. no break in the pain what so ever. It was 911 that called the hospital & had Hospital Security get Nurses to my room. When i saw the uniform I pointed at him... then I fainted. The next thing I remember is being rolled down the halls of a hospital fast as possible with the IV bottles swinging. (Just like in the movies) I asked the Nurse where she was taking me. She said, honey, you are going to ICU. I asked why. She said because you are bleeding internally. next thing I remember is waking up in another room with my sister by my side.

SUSAN, THANK YOU. I am just trying to tell my story. When people don't believe you & think that you are lying, it hurts. it's like being raped & they say your story if fishy. Grrrrrr Life is hard enough. i have no reason to lie. I am laying it all out there. If I was lying... these Doctors & the hospital have it in writing. They have more money than I do & they could sue me for everything I own. I am not that stupid to lie then post my lies on line. Thank You Very Much. Kim David
