Hey springers, How is everyone doing. Is everyone losing as fast as we were in the beginning. Any help would be appreciated. I have fallen into old habits. Eating crap mostly. But I think I have lost control over the band and myself. I dont want to eat thru the band. Angie

Hi, Anyone out there at the 6 month mark??? I have alot of questions. I have 4.5 ccs in my 10 cc band. My weight loss has slowed down drastically. I went to the doctor and I only lost a half a pound in 5 weeks. I have noticed my food intake has gotten to be a lot more. I am not sure if I Stretched out my top pouch. how do you know if you do stretch it. will you feel it? And if it is stretched can it go back to normal. I know they said that the weight loss will slow down, but I didnt think this slow. Anyone having the same issue? Angie

I had that and I was to tight. I was throwing up spit for hours. I had to go back to my doctor and they had to take saline out of my band...

Thank you for your responses. I cant wait to go in and get filled again, I feel like I have no restriction at all. and I feel like I am gaining. I have to get my **** together and stop eating snacks, in between meals. Its so hard though. Only because i am hungry all the time now. Hopefully my next fill will help.

AHHH Im glad I am not the only one... do you guys feel better with your 1/2 cc fills. I am going to measure and really take a look at what I am eating. not that I am eating bad its just the amount I am eating. How long have you guys had your band in?? angie

SO I WENT FOR MY 2nd FILL YESTERDAY.. what a disaster. they put in 1.5 ccs I was good all day till I got home from work I had a glass of milk and that was it i was throwing up for 3 hours. I had to go in to the hospital for a emergency visit. To make a long story short I only have 2 ccs in now. I had 3cc before my fill. SO im less and I am so nervous that I am going to eat like a pig. I had no restriction before. I am going to try and not to, but this is harder than I thought, I might do 5 pr 6 small little meals a day. that seems to work with me. My doctor also said that I am very sensitive to the fills so, I will only get like 1/2 ccs from now on. Ughh Im so disappointed is anyone else sensitive to fills. ANgie

Hiii Banders. Is anyone else having this issue. I was banded May 4th and had one fill. I am going in tomorrow for fill #2. For the past 2 weeks I feel like I am eating Like the way i use to. I feel like I haven't learned a thing. I have No restriction at all and thats what was helping me. But my question is after the 2nd fill do you feel the restriction again. and do you eat less. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Angie

Hiii everyone. I havent been on in a while. U know how the summer is. I am glad im not the only one feeling the way i do. I feel like i could eat the way i use to. I have No restriction at all. But i see that after the 2nd fill u guys are feeling the restriction again. I go in for a sec fill on the 31st. I should eat less after the fill right. Please let me know your thoughts. I feel like I have no restriction at this point. The getting full quickly stage is starting to ware off. Is this normal? I am on the diet that the doctor gave to me and in the beginning I had to walk to feel better because I felt to stuffed on a little bit of food. Now I can eat the same meal and still be hungry and want more. I dont drink enough water this is my one downfall. I am trying so hard to get all the water in I can but its definitely not the 64 oz or water a day they recommend. I am having enough protien. I dont have any fills yet. Did anyone else have this problem??

I got banded back on may 3rd. Ive been on liquids and Tomorrow I can start mushies. But i have to tell you I am hungry every hour!!! Is this happening to everyone during there liquids Angie
