Hi Paula! Dr. Kelly has been unfairly surrounded by a lot of coordinator drama that he's trying to move on from. So he now uses a facilitator named Omar who will be your primary contact. But, Dr. Kelly usually calls new patients himself to discuss your situation. Omar's number is: 619-395-5347 You can text him or call him and he will get the ball rolling. Tell him you want to speak to Dr. Kelly also. Someone posted Dr. K's number on here too but Omar will help you. I have another friend from Canada who was sleeved by Dr. Kelly a few months ago and is returning next week with her own sister. She's THAT comfortable with Dr Kelly's skills and her experience was just fine. If you'd like I can put you into touch with her, too. She is here on the VST sometimes too. If you'd like to PM me with more questions I'd be happy to answer them!

Cookies I've been researching this a LOT and it seems no one *really* knows. No one has been able to give me an actual scientific paper saying these things just aren't good - doesn't matter to me that much except that I really don't like shakes and have been trying to figure out an alternative. There is nothing as good as eating real Protein but I'd like to know once and for all if any of the protein shots are really that crappy or not??? I'd prefer not to go word of mouth or even from a nutritionist unless someone can point me in the direction of a study showing they are bad. Someone else on here said there was a dateline show (or something like that) saying that a lot of these Protein drinks and shots are just not good. So does that mean Isopure clear drinks aren't good? New Whey protein shots suck? No one seems to *really* know. So if anyone DOES know please tell us!!!

Hey Everybody, I have NOT been sleeved yet so I feel like I can't really make a direct comment on Dr. K just yet, but I noticed that on this website, if you go to Surgeons and search his name, it pulls up his profile (pretty sparse) and it still says he is affiliated with A Lighter Me which I know is incorrect. I've already informed Omar about this - I know they are working on updating a lot of his info including his facebook page and his twitter... Anyway, it looks like he could use some recommendations - so those of you who have been to him and feel you can recommend him, please go there and say that!

Also if you do online checkin 24 hrs before sometimes you can upgrade then and you have a better chance of getting it!!

Thanks, Joni. It is probably one of the better tasting ones. I really really hate protein drinks (have tried at least 10 of them) so looking for alternatives. Someone else on here said it wasn't good quality so I was concerned. But it's a small amount with a good taste so I'm hoping I'll still like it AFTER surgery.

Got a free sample of the Berry Blast and I LOVED it! Trying to find out some outside opinions on its efficacy. Plan on ordering some!
