It's the little things......
Trcyprkr70 replied to FitnFabfor2014's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was sleeved last year and I was happy to put on boots that wasn't stretchy. I am still amaze that I can wear size medium and some small blouses. I also like the fact that I can wear bracelets. -
For the past few days I have been missing meals and not eating very much because of hectic schedule. What I have notice is that when I do eat I seem to get full a lot quicker. Has anyone experience this? Sunshine

SO Annoying! Anyone else share my frustration?
Trcyprkr70 replied to Aries's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I to look at people and think they are eating to much but it's usually women that I feel that way about. I sometimes think to myself are they really eating to much or does it just look like they are because I can only eat small amounts. Sunshine -

I have read that building muscle adds weight and i wonder if I am experiencing that gain. It's like over the pass three weeks I have gain 10 lbs... I know that part of that is Water weight because I have been retaining Fluid. So my question is will I eventually start back losing weight? I'm thinking about slacking up. I do push-ups, wall-sits, planks, squats, sit-ups, & very little weights (curls) Sunshine -

Why am I a Slowwwwwwwww loser?
Trcyprkr70 replied to newgrandmother's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Stay encouraged everyone. I am also what some will say a slow loser but as of two days ago I am down 70 lbs @ 7.5 months. As a matter of fact my coworkers was just complimenting on my weight loss and how small I have gotten. I have stalled at least a month and a half twice. I was sad at first because I was reaching each goal at a certain point but I shouldn't have been beating up on myself. For the first time in years I bought a size medium shirt and 10 in pants. The 10's are a little tight but another 10 to 15 lbs and they will fit perfect. I'm learning to embrace myself. Best of success everyone. Sunshine -
You look great. Congrats on your success Sunshine

I have told some people that I do Protein and exercise. The people that I have told are the people that support me. My ex boyfriend seems to keep saying I took the easy way out and it's not. I had to tell the idiot that I too still have to watch what I eat and exercise. Just a few days ago someone was on Facebook slamming someone because she had wls. Apparently the person that had the surgery was trying to tell the other person to have the surgery. I pick and chose who I want to know because some people are judgmental and I don't take negativity to well. Sunshine

Trcyprkr70 replied to newgrandmother's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
New grandmother that is awesome. I feel like I should be further along at 7 months out. I am only down about 65 lbs or so. What makes me feel good is how little people say I am. I am also pear shaped. I need to lose another 45 lbs if I want to get to my original goal, however my entire family and friends say I don't need to go that far. So I'm thinking maybe another 25 lbs. my boyfriend is always teasing about how small my butt is compared to what it was when we first met. I have to laugh at him. Needless to say we are all rocking our sleeve. Sunshine -

Why water is the key to fat metabolism
Trcyprkr70 replied to newgrandmother's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
For the first couple of months I could only drink flavored Water to get it down. I can now drink it plain and cold but like others I prefer it to be room temperature. I can get my 64 oz in when I'm at work but I often don't when I'm off. Gotta work on that. I will be 6 months in two weeks and my goal is to get 9.5 off by then. Wish me luck Sunshine -
Hey Sara, I was sleeved July 24, 2012 and I'm down 59 lbs and I'm always cold. One of my coworkers had the surgery three months ago and she said she gets cold easily. Tracy Sunshine

I wonder if it slows down for those who lose rapidly. I consider myself a slow loser and sure hope it doesn't get any slower than this.

Water - Just Water
Trcyprkr70 replied to dominique's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I agree and I thought that was so odd that I had to have Crystal light just to get water down. I just made four months out and it was at three months out when I discovered I could drink plain water again. -
