May 8 here! I don't now whether to be excited or nervous. I don't exactly have a good track record when it comes to having surgery. I alway seem to have complications.

Thanks for the info. I have a candle warmer but never would have thought of using it to warm mugs.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what I need post op. I'm talking about dishes and things. For example, I understand that it will take a long time to eat, should I get a warming plate? I hate cold food. I've also seen suggestions for baby spoons and sippy cups. Anything else?

Hi everyone, I hope some has good advice. I am scared to death of head hunger. My surgery isn't til May 8 and my biggest fear is being able to control the urge to eat whether I hungery or not. Thanks for any advice.

Hi everyone. My surgery date is May 8. I start my liquid April 17th. -
Save room for me on the losers bench. I'm on my way. May 8th is the day.

I haven't been sleeved yet, but I cam tell you from experience don't push yourself too fast. It can cause other problems. I didn't listen to my Dr. After my hysterectomy because I felt Good and ended up with an incisional hernia. Not good! I had to have another surgery soon after to fix that. Please be careful. Good luck.

Hello all dfw sleevers, I am still in the pre- op stage. I am seeing Dr. David Kim for my surgery. I have a Nut class and stress test on March 23rd, then everything goes to insurance for approval. I'm doing 2 shakes and 1 meal a day Nd have lost 18 lbs so far. I was wondering if any knows how much we should lose before surgery. I'm concerned I haven't lost enough. Thanks in advance for your input.

I too am getting anxious. On 3/22 I finish all of my prerequisites and wait for insurance approval. I'm hoping everything goes fast, if it doesn't I'll have to wait until fall. I can't get time off work after May 4th. Keeping my fingers crossed.
