Thank you guys!! -
Hey lovely ladies that are losing! I'm looking to see if anyone has any medium scrubs they are willing to sell/swap...I also have some large scrubs I'm looking to sell/swap along with size 12 pants and large tops....let me know and keep working those sleeves!!!
-
My husband said the same exact thing to me! He was and is extremely supportive but now that I'm down about 53 pounds and 4 pant sizes I think he's starting to love the new and improved me,and any fears he may have had about me leaving are gone. I think if hubbys and wives see that we are still the same person as before wls,we are just an improved and healthier version, they're worries of us leaving will disappear. It's a big adjustment not only for us but our loved one as well...and we should give them all the room they need to adjust, just as they've given us....whew...I can really talk huh!? Lol

Weight Watcher Smart Ones/lean Cuisines
xraylinny posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hey guys! What do you guys(and your nutritionist) think about eating smart ones and lean cuisines if in a bind? I dont see my nut until next week so I wanted your opinions. I bought a box of weight watchers ice cream. It has 10 g of sugar(which is alot i know) 90 cal,2g fat, 2g of protein, 17g of carbs. I know this is alot for a "diet" ice cream but i think its better than eating the real stuff...once in awhile isnt bad lol -

Hey Everyone! Didnt know where else better I can b***h and complain than here! So, Im 29 years old with a gorgeous 18 month old girl and a supportive husband. My older sister (who was always a size 6 ) and my mom are so not supportive and its driving me NUTS! Ever since I started my research for the sleeve my family have been so unsupportive of me. I dont care that they dont approve, but I have told them they dont have to like it,but they will respect my decision. I told my mom exactly what the surgery entailed and what my eating pattern would be post op. She even did her own research and commented that she didnt know part of my stomach was going to be removed. Fast forward a few weeks and I am now 2 weeks post op and she keeps bringing up that she didnt know part of the stomach was removed and if she knew that, she wouldve jumped in front of the stretcher at the hospital!! And now on top of all this...she keeps saying that my daughter will be my only child because I wont be able to have another child with the new stomach! I have given her so much research information and packets from my surgeon. I just wish my family would be supportive like they said they would!! Sorry for the venting!!

What is everyones thoughts on the Special K Protein shakes? They have 10g of protein for one 10oz bottle. Very very tasty but it has 18g of sugar. This has to be the 5th form of protein Ive tried....Hated the Isopure, tried the GNC whey protein-hated...I see Syntrax on here alot. Where can I get samples? Thanks skinnies!!

Omg Got Sleeved Monday An I Am In So Much Pain
xraylinny replied to chigga77's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hang in there. Im one week out and just starting to feel like myself again. Like everyone says, use your pain meds! Ive had to use mine a handful of times and it helps. I think everyone on here has had that "omg what did i do" feeling but for me it passed right away. Keep positive and look to the skinny and healthy future!! -
Im out day 4 now..feeling good. I find it very hard to get all my protien in, do you guys feel that way too? Im constantly sip sip sip all day. Any liquids I have I mix in a few spoonfuls of Isopure. The only pain I can complain about is the hole where they took the stomach out of. Lots or bruising and tenderness but I take my pain meds as needed and take small walks and catnaps during the day. This new "full" feeling is something to get used to. Mentally-to only drink a few ounces at a time and feel so full you may burst is weird to get around. I can start my full liquids next week, very excited for that. Does it bother you to see people that live in your house eat normal foods? I can honestly say it doesnt bother me at all! Im sure that may change in time. Anyway..thanks for letting me tell my story! You guys are an inspiration! Keep up the good work all you LOSERS!! (losers meaning weight loss losers! lol)
