    The dreaded hair loss

I read an article that suggested Evening Primrose oil helps. Actually someone on youtube mentioned it in their video that they found it on OH. My plan is to start now, stop shortly before surgery and revisit a few weeks after surgery.

Someone else who's been sleeved and knows a bit more than I regarding this can chime in...BUT, in my search for Vitamins and what not to take after surgery, I did come across a Protein in pill form. I was definitely going to ask about it at my appointment on this coming Monday. Anyone know with certain?

    Heating Blankets Recommendations Please

I wanted one that was auto shut off. They were pretty pricey. However, one day at the end of the season, I walked into WalMart and purchased 2 $10 and $15. They weren't ASO but worked great the same. Any place that sells them should have them on clearance soon.

    Endoscopy Thursday - What Happens?

I'm still coughing from dry throat and my endo was last Monday. Easy as pie. My Dr. came in and talked to me and gave me pics from what he saw. I was given propofol. Came home and slept for 3 hours more. I was bordering a panic attack...the night before so that was make up lost sleeping time. Went to work the next day!

    Physical Therapy Eval Why?

Hi, I would start with the insurance company, call to find out the requirements and if this is one of the stipulations. I would also call the Dr.'s office and ask for clarification. Also most insurance companies have the information on their website so you can search for yourself as well. I just hope he meant the psych eval. This isn't the direct answer you were looking for but I hope it helps. ~Lyn

    My Nosy Boss.....

TraceyC, that is a great 'non excuse' for me to use. I do have a small hiatal hernia. That is all they will need to know until I decide to say.

    Prayed About It...well...

Sorry, I'm just seeing this... I like that His "Severe Mercy". Whatever brings us to the place of I Surrender is what works, huh? It still takes me time to get there because I am stubborn and hard headed. Don't let the wall hold you too long. Get a scripture or song of encouragement that you can memorize, sing or hum when those times come and press toward the mark. Much success to you.

    I Bought A Bike

Anyone In Their 40's Get Rid Of Saggy Skin/cellulite With Exercise?

I will watch for this as well. I will be 43 by the time I have the surgery...just want to know what I can do, if anything. I'm going to add that to my prayer list.
  22. Thought of something that was funny...to me at least. I was sharing with my coworker my decision to have WLS. During the conversation today he said, what do you want to lose, you booty and boobs? LOL I had to laugh. Is that all you see?? What about the hips, arms, stomach and thighs? Men! Well he will just have to watch the boobies shrink. LMBO

Tagine- The Most Perfect Meal For Gastric Sleevers!

So it would be a few days worth. I like left overs...is that a no-no here...but after a few days I'm like okay I'm done with that. I suppose freezing would be an option too. Thanks Chef Neil
