Went to my required presurgery nutrition class and for some reason have become absolutely paralyzed with fear about the surgery. I am really worried about the amount of pain that will come from having such a sensitive organ cut out. I have read a thousand posts but I am still afraid I will be one of those people who will end up having a really low pain tolerance. I guess I am just super nervous because I have never had any kind of surgery before. Uggghh. I want to be excited, not scared.
