  1. Mini Baby Bel Cheeses Laughing Cow French Onion Cheese spread with a Sundried Tomato/Basil Wheat Thins Enough Said....that is all Worm
  2. A person would be the floor in tear writhing pain to have a sleeve so full to the point of stretching it. The sleeve can't be stretched folks...I trust my surgeon and he is one of the top in the nation in VGS
  3. yup, thats all non-sense. The sleeve doesn't stretch. Docs advise no straws just after post op to prevent gas pressure. Thats all. After the healing phase you can go right back to straws
  4. Your capacity will grow over time. At 8 months post op now I can have an entire normal sized ham sandwich and I'm full
  5. sounds like the incision in the abdomen under the skin healing up..or itching like. If pain increases or redness or swelling occurs, see the doc

    Popcorn

You have no food limits with a sleeve after you've advanced to the proper post stage diet. Have some popcorn! just don't load it down with as much butter and salt. Its now a life of controlled moderation...not forced misery. Remember that
  7. I feel there are lots more success stories on this board than horror stories. It may be where you're pre-op and just worrying in general that might make you "hunt" out horror stories on here. I had a one day hospital stay...no pain..didn't have to take pain meds. ZERO problems post op...advanced diet right on pace..the whole nine yards...I'm 8 months post op as of this week and 130 pounds down. Went from a size 46 waist to a size 34. Been going on more dates than what I can keep track of. My life is totally on fire health wise, professionally, and socially. ITS A FUN TIME! You'll enjoy your new life, I promise

    Smoothie King ?

    1. smoothies tend to be high in sugar so be ware of that 2. The body can only absorb about 25g of Protein at a time, rest isn't absorbed

    Drainage Tube

I had a JP Drain..no big deal..don't worry about it

    Dizzy Spells

This is called hypotention...its where your blood pressure is lower than what the body is used to. This happened early in my Sleeve experience, especially after I worked out and sat in my recliner for a spell. After a few months it stopped. Its just going on as your body is going through its major adjustments in the beginning

    Stomach Size

Shouldn't be on solid foods at 7 days out..but if you are tolerating them with no issues it might be ok
  13. Eventhough you went to another country for gastric surgery, you're regular doctor SHOULD know what blood test to run regardless. They are mainly checking Vitamin levels, sugar, liver function, and general blood counts.

    Dating A Sleeved Person

well from a guy, GIRLS ARE ALL OVER ME...they don't care if I'm sleeved or not and my scars are not noticeable at all *flexes*

    Want Sushi

Its ok to try things and see if its tolerated. I advanced my post op diet really fast...I just sampled and moved forward with what worked. You're not going to damage your stomach with the TYPE of food, its how the food processes while briefly in your stomach. Also, after you are healed you can't damage your sleeve with normal eating. You would have to eat in excess to crying pains to even get close to doing anything damaging. Its a common notion on this site when people are fearing they will "stretch out their sleeve" its not going to happen. Now you will have some volume capacity increase a bit once swelling goes down but it will never again be at the size your stomach once was Best of luck

    How Many Pounds?

You can lose as much as you want with the sleeve if you work it right. I lost 130 pounds in under 6 months with the sleeve, no carb diet, and hired a personal trainer. I got that with no re-routing of things

    Drinking While Eating!

    Sips are ok
  18. I had a one night stay...no problems....came in on a Thursday...left on Friday. I was drinking tea and water hours after surgery...and was walking up and down the halls 6 hrs after surgery....I had the best doc in the State for the gastric sleeve though

    Just Realized!

YAY..great news. And yes its very true that your mind doesn't catch up with the weightloss. It took me a good 4 months to realize how much fully I had changed. The most common thing people say to me now is that "I bet you feel a lot better". Well I didn't feel bad before....I guess people always thought I did? Either way I know we're just better healthier now...and I can't beat off the females chasing after me with a stick!
  20. No no..the reason doc's tell us no caffeine is that it can cause you to eat more from our minds being programmed from us usually having it during meals. I was told I could have coffee in moderate after one month. I started back on limited soda after 2 months. You'll be fine....everything in moderation (since you're forced to) will be ok *sips his Diet Dr Pepper while typing this*
  21. You're at your 3 week stall...its infamous. Just watch...you'll lose inches now for a week or two but little to no weight. Keep in there, its not a race and there will be more stalls to come. Just prepare mentally and follow proper diet

    Hot Dogs?

    Calories And Carbs

If you avoid the carbs you'll lose way more, thats what I've done from the beginning As for protein, you should be doing a min of 70 g and the other post is correct about doing 64 oz of water
