I take 1200 in the liquid in the morning and then maybe another hit prior to going to the gym. Far less than what you'd find in a 5 hr Energy shot so you're fine taking more daily. I call it my b12 zoom cause I'm bouncing off the walls right after taking it!

My doc said you can drive once you're off narcotic pain meds (they gave me liquid Lortab which i didn't take) I was driving on day 3-4

I heard yes..but never back to original size. Plus in order for you to streatch it you'd have to continuously eat to the point of pain over and over

First off, if you don't get on a habit of only weighing in once a week, you'll go crazy. Each persons weight loss is different based on their body. Me personally, I dropped 40 pounds in 3 weeks. But I also heard guys lose differently..so its hard to compare to another person

I thought onederland was when a person loses over 100 pounds? Am I wrong? -
Thats not a good idea. Right now fluids are very important, I wouldn't wait. You're suppose to be sipping either ice chips or water almost constantly the first few days out of surgery

(Re Posted Here) Hi Guys ,new Here :) . Question About Strength
Mr_Worm replied to Iwishfit's topic in Fitness & Exercise
For this, I started a strength training program with a personal trainer at my local gym. Pre-op I was sailing max weights with no probs...then come 3 weeks after sleeved I was a winded weak dude. In my mind all I can do is keep pumping the weights and then I'll get it back with some tone -
I'm a life long leg cramp sufferer. I control them by monitoring potassium and water intake. Your body is losing some mass so if you're like me and you're laying in bed, you'll feel those leg musscles twitching. Its been over a year now since I had a cramp and thats with heavy gym use. This is how I have been controling it

How Does Surgeon Take Out The Excised Portion Of Stomach?
Mr_Worm replied to Bubbaloo10's topic in The Lounge
the excised portion of the stomach is put into a bag while in the abs and then pulled out one of the bigger incisions or through the belly button. There are videos of it on youtube -

I Wish Someone Had Told Me....
Mr_Worm replied to ShouldBlittler's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This is def not normal practice! There was no reason for that tube to still be in from the surgery by the time you woke up. Just and FYI... -
Long Term Effect-Gastric Sleeve
Mr_Worm replied to jewels1227's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Also for me the cost was a factor. My insurance didn't cover any baratrics so I had to pay out of pocket. For me in Kentucky the Band and the Sleeve were the same price but the sleeve would be a one time cost proceedure whereas I'd have to pay for each band adjustment. All that info along with that sleeved patients lose 20-30% MORE weight than a band in a year. Also, 30-40% of all band patients fail and have revision surgery to the band. I'm pretty sure the sleeve is going to continue gaining momentum as a the perferred surgery other than a By-Pass. I foresee band placements greatly decressing over time... -
Long Term Effect-Gastric Sleeve
Mr_Worm replied to jewels1227's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
My understanding is that there are no long term data on the sleeve since its only been used alone for WLS for around 6 years. Now I also was told this used to be the first state of a Gastric By Pass in people so add that in and its been around for a real long time. As someone suggested, you can get the stats of your specific surgeon. Mine had only had 2 leaks out of 6000 surgeries so I was confortable with that. Besides, if you do have a leak they fix it with a scope down the throat and don't recut you open. As with any surgery there is risk and you can see from the many people on this fourm, we took the plunge and haven't looked back.
