[color=#800080][font=comic sans ms,cursive]I am 35 years old, and have been heavy my entire life. These last few years, my weight soared to 399! Yikes. It was time to do something about it. Diets for me, unfortunately have only been temporary. Always falling back into the same bad habits. I needed help. After much research, my husband and I both opted to get the vertical sleeve gastrectomy. Since August, when the decision was made, I put myself on a strict diet. I've lost 55lbs!! Go me! But this is just a start of a very long journey. I have lots more to go to be where I can feel healthy, and active. I have a beautiful daughter who is 6yrs. old, and needs her Mommy. I want to be able to play with her more, rather than sit on the sidelines and watch. I'm missing her life. I want to be IN the photos, instead of the one who only wants to take the photos. I have a date of April 9 for my surgery. Today is March 31. I am now really starting to get nervous, and yet I'm so excited as well. I cannot wait to begin this process. I've read so many of your stories, the good and the bad, and I just pray that all goes well with mine and my husband's surgery. [/font][/color]
