Umm...I'm doing horrible at eating right. I am not yet at my 2 weeks preop but over the last few months I have been eating poorly, what ever I want in large quantities...its bad I wish it was easier to just stop, but that's one reason I'm having the surgery for the restiction to help me stop!

I relate to u so much with this story, as do most of us... I just had to reply and just say I'm thinking of u and soon we won't have these worries and problems.

I'm doing the same exact thing....after summer school but before the next school year starts. I'm worried about timing and everything...fingers crossed it all works out for us -
They do make them in our sizes and it is a f*cking challenge to get them on!! I can't wait to not need them too...but I do think a lot of people still end up wearing them to help with loose skin:(

That is great...its true I could never loose that much on my own....people got to give it time its an assitant to help us loose the weigt. Good job so far!

Good luck, I am thinking about u. -
I'm so sorry that happened. I have had **** like this happen to me...I mean most of us have ... once in a Grocery store this like 2 or 3 year old was telling his mom " her butt is so big" and he said it like 3 times. And I was also pregnant so I just felt like ****. All night and still to this day when I think about it, I wish I would have said something to him like " its not nice to say that, you hurt my feelings " because obviously his Mom didn't give a **** about teaching him any manners! I can't wait for the surgery to be over and done, either!

I was nervous too, but it really is super easy.

Talking Myself Out Of It!
pdog replied to tyvette04's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm nervous about going under too, but I just remind myself about all the people on these boards that have done it, survived and are doing great. If u were put to sleep for ur Endoscopy , it wasnt so bad. You will do great. -
My 2Nd Nutrition Appointment- Waste Of Time And Money
pdog replied to pdog's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm happy to hear such good things about Dr. Halmi. I've only met him at the first appt. Bluepoint has been helpful so far... I'm happy with the way these are going -
So I was just calling some psychologists to make my appointment and of course only one answered. When she was explaining the exam to me, she said its 2 parts. The first part is a 3 hour psychological test and the second is a 90 min meeting to go over the results....is this normal? I thought it was going to be a one time thing, that was mostly talking. Also she mentioned money, she said the testing was like 200 and the write up was like 345...is that normal? OMG

Eating Like Crap When Poor : (
pdog replied to SlevieNicks's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This is what is wrong with America, all the good healthy food- fruits and veggies- are to expensive to buy. So many people have to eat cheaper which means bad choices...this is one major reason for the rise in childhood obesity. If a family has $12 to.eat dinner, they can either all eat off the dollar menu at mcdonalds or buy like a few apples and potatoes. Sorry I went so deep...haha -
I agree it sucked big time, especially the tubes up the nose. I could barely fall asleep, but its not the worst thing in the world. It's easy enough.

When any of u ladies post op have lost hair, do u mainly loss it in back? I'm nervous that I'm going to lose an obvious amount or patch like right in the front and everyone will notice. Also I plan on using some hair extensions, the pin in ones, to help with volume- which I have no experience with-

Do I Have To Rush To Do My Sleep Study?
pdog posted a topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I want to know if I have to rush to do my sleep study. My surgery is not till July or Aug. I'm worried that I will be surprised with bad results from the sleep study. I don't think I have sleep apnea, I sleep all night long without any issues I know of and my husband says I don't snore. But I have read that some people r totally surprised and then have to wear the machine to sleep. Since my surgery is so far away I don't want to get stuck with the machine for the next 6 months. What are the doctors looking for with the study other than if you have sleep apnea or not? -
Awesome,great nsv!

Do I Have To Rush To Do My Sleep Study?
pdog replied to pdog's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sleep study done...I did it last night, and I didn't have to be put on a cpap machine..woohoo.... It was like the worst night of sleep though. I could not get comfortable and the 2 different nasal canulas up my nose didn't help. I could bearly breath. But one more thing done and off the checklist! -
