Totally normal. I felt so tired and weak all the time. At four weeks post op I got a b12 shot from surgeons offc and within the week, I started to feel better! Just rest. Your bodies are healing and it will pass!!

I am drinking crystal light and Mio drops. And right now my favorite is Lipton Diet Green Tea with Citrus. Yummy! And they have other flavored as well.

If its what I had its a condition called chest wall syndrome that frequently affects people who have had major surgery. Use heat and take Tylenol if it hurts really bad. Mine was so bad I had to go to the doc and was put on sedatives for about five days. It goes away on its own. It's your nerve ending waking back up and healing after surgery. Not fun! And can affect any area of the body. Mine was on my back, left side. Thought it was a kidney stone. It hurt so bad I would scream at times.

So that's what it's called??? Well, I have done it several times since being sleeved. So now I know what to call it and why it happens! Thanks!!!

I bought a digital scale as well and that has been a lifesaver! Since I know most sleeves won't hold but just 3 oz. I weigh my food on my plate as well. Keeps me in check and I don't waste near as much food. Got mine for 30 bucks from Target!

I had complications and had to stay 4 days.

I have some weird knot in my wrist just south of where the IV was in my hand. I go to the doc thurs. I sure hope it's not a clot! Scary!

U know about what happened with me. My binder helped tons. You can buy one at a medical supply store and I have heard at Walmart too.

I would say because of the complications you might need to take it very very easy on your sleeve. Mashed potatoes are so thick and bulky and pasta swells in your new stomach. What you are experiencing is normal. Sounds like your sleeve is healing it just needs some extra TLC. Protein shakes are hard to digest. I drink my 6 ounces , 2 ounces at a time throughout the day. I hope this helps!

Ok. We just moved here from DFW six mths ago. And I used Dr Dean here in Beaumont. They have monthly group meetings but I haven't been to a meeting yet. I should just to check it out.

My doc says the same except he said if I must snack, make it a Protein filled snack. Healthy.
