Just hang in there, insurance is changing there requirments all the time as more information comes in. they seem to be droping the bmi it used to be 40 and now 35 so maybe they will lower it more to 30 before long.

I got weighed at my first meeting with the DR, even left my shoes on. was told i couldnt gain any weight befor my pre-op appointment. that was on May 1 and my pre-op is tomorrow.

Congratulations Deb, We have all come a long ways in the last few weeks now we are either already banded or will be shortley. I have my pre-op appt tomorrow April 4 and then surgery April 12.

Finally the wait is over . I GOT MY DATE april 12 7AM. will do my pre-op next week. now it feels real.I can hardly wait i am so excited

Hi all, Oklahoma here its 82 today and it is just March already turned the airconditioner on but if i open all the windows and doors my allergies wood go nutts. I have 2 children girl 28 and boy 23, son still lives at home. 3 dog yellow lab, blake and tan lab mix and an over grown rat not sure what she is. Hopping the weather will be good this weeken so we can take the Harley out for a ride. Got the call today i have been waiting on the inssurance has approved me but the date i was tenatively set for has been booked cordinater said would call tommorow and let me know if she could and me on the 12 looks like i will have to do 3 mabe 4 weeks of my liqud diet, oh well just that much more i will be ahead.

Oh man so sorry i missed all this yesterday, Glove if you are reading our post wiether you do this or not is up to you, you WILL make the right decision for you. But you are a part of our group and we need you. you always have such good and informed advice.

on day 5 of an all liquid diet, 3 protien shakes a day and cream soups yogurt and sugar free pudding. not to be crude or anything but has anyone had problems with gas on the protien shakes and what can be done about it?

Girlie. sounds like life has not been the best for you so far. hoplfully this will be an new start and you can put all that behined you. 3 yr olds are a handful without any restrictions, but oh are they so worth it. You have made it through some tought times so this is going to be a piece of cake. will keep you in my prayers. Hopefully my surgery will be the same day as yours but not betting on it.
