    Saggy Saggy Butt And Stomach

    I worry about this too! I've already talked to my surgeon about possible abdominoplasty next year. Right now the only thing I've noticed is my flabby arms but I am going to the gym 5 days a week, so I hope that helps. I'm also losing my butt and boobs but who cares, I'd rather be thin and healthy!

    September Autumn Challenge

    Name, real or screen~ Holly Goal weight for September 29th~ 184 Weight on September 1st~ 192.2 Age~ 39 Dietary goal for September~ Getting the suggested 70 grams of Protein. Exercise goal for September~ 5 days a week at the gym, I currently do 2-3. Personal goal for September~ To successfully juggle, family, work, school, and the gym. Date banded~ 8/1/2012 Total weight loss since banding/pre op diet~ 23.8 pounds since my pre op diet. What is your favorite Fall Activity?~ Halloween! Last year it was canceled due to a freak October snowstorm that left us without power for over a week! Good luck everyone!

    I can't even believe that it has been a month already since I had surgery I'm back at work, school, the gym, you name it, it's business as usual. In the beginning my heating pad was my best friend but you'll be back to yourself in no time! Good luck!

    Letter Of Nessacity

    My primary care doctor was skeptical too! I saw her two months after I started my 6 month insurance required supervised diet and told her how my goal is to get off of my blood pressure and cholesterol medication. She continued to tell me that it may not happen and not to count on it, blah blah blah. Well, when I saw her for my pre op visit in July she was singing a new song! By this time I had almost lost 30lbs and was becoming tired after taking my blood pressure pills. My blood pressure in her office that day was 102/70...the lowest in a long time. Anyways, she reduced my medication by half and started telling me how I can probably get off all of my medication by losing the weight. Hang in there! You'll show your Dr. that you can do it and turn them into a believer!
  22. I did ask my Surgeon before surgery if he was going to put anything in my band at the time of surgery and he said he was going to give me a "head start". He did put 3.6 cc's in my 10 cc band. So far, I have not eaten over 1/2 cup of food at a meal and I can go about 3 hours (sometimes longer) between meals. I am also averaging about 600 calories a day and that is up from last week when I returned to the gym. My calorie goal is 1000 and I'm sure the more I go to the gym the easier that will be. I have lost 15.5lbs since my surgery 8/1. If needed, my first fill is scheduled for 9/17.

    Length Of Hospital Stay

    I too stayed overnight. The only thing I didn't like was the compression boots. I was definitely more comfortable at home!
