[font="'comic sans ms"][color="#800080"]I have been part of this site for a couple of months now but have never given my story.[/color][/font]


[font=comic sans ms,cursive][color=#800080]I was average size while I was growing up. I was a military brat and married my high school sweetheart. I started gaining weight after my second child and just kept putting it on after having two more children. My husband has loved my through all the good and not so good times and I love him dearly. I was just not in love with myself and felt I needed to take control of this issue. I tried over the counter dieting pills and prescribed dieting pills. I've tried weight watcher, Adkins, South Beach and I could keep going... In January 2012 I made an appointment with Dr. Fox and in February 2012 I was banded. Yes I did a self pay because my insurance (BCBS of GA - [b]SUCKS[/b]) had a 2 year supervised diet plan (which I thought was [u]ridiculous[/u]). So I saw no other option but to self pay. Thank GOD for 401k. Now I may have to work a couple more years but I believe it is all worth it. My first daughter is getting married this year and I have another daughter who will not be far behind her. [/color][/font][color=#800080]I also have two sons. [/color][color=#800080] I know I will be a grandmother within the next two years and I want to make sure I am around for them as healthy as I can be. I love my family.[/color]
