  4. Hi all! Hope everyone is still on track! Well I must say I've been thinking that I most be the slowest loser here. I finally hit the 50lbs lost today! Since surgery on 9/22. I am so happy that the weight is coming off even though is moving slowly. I can definitely eat a lot more now which is probably why the loss has slowed down now.   11. Why is it so important to chew a lot? I find my self not chewing that much, and the food goes down with no problem. So wondering why the "rules" say to chew a lot. Sent from my SGH-T989 using VST

  16. Only 2 Weeks post and I am hungry all the time. After I eat like 2 to maybe 4 Oz tops, like half hr later I want to eat again! What is going on. I am not lossing either I am on stall for one full week on top of everything. Soop frustrating.
  17. is pepcid ok? does it have to be prevacid? my doc never mentioned this.. but I will try it.
  18. I drink protein shake in the morning, nectar chocolate. in the morning I do feel full but for me is at night that I get hungry. I dont drink the shakes at night though... maybe I should... Is just I am tired of the shakes.. but let try again.. hope that will this hunger.
  19. I gain weight too 2lbs, very frustrating. I did loose it very slowly, but now I have stopped loosing. I sure hope is just head hunger.. I am gonna try up the water intake like the previous post just told me though. Hope that will help.. I am MFP look me up.. "Jentheyo". feel free to add me.
  20. actually no, I am not taking anything for the reflux... I did take pepcid once, but I dont feel hurt burn or reflux. I can eat 2 oz of cottage cheese then I want to eat again. today I ate some shrimp, for dinner. and got full right away after like 3 shrimps but then half hour later I had like 5 more no problems but now is been like 1hr and still want to eat again. U are right, I am not drinking enough Water, but I dont feel thirsty. I am staying away from the carbs. I am tracking what I eat, eating less than 500 cal. protein about 48-60 with shakes. I am on MFP. I am taking your advice very serious and will drink more water.. hoping that it will help.
  21. I dont think your eating too much. As long as ur following the guidelines and keeping protein first, and drink ur luiquids. it sounds ur doing just fine.

    Hey, I dont know how I will survive without the rice, bread, potatoe salads. I am dreading thanksgiving. I am Dominican, and one week out. Missing food! :-(
  23. Laying in bed, can't sleep. Excited about tomorrow. Survived clear liquids diet today, that was rough. hoping that I wont be in too much pain after. And hoping that I wake up from the surgery. Knock on wood.

    Too Much Protein?

    I dont think that is bad, my NUT guidelines are 60-80. I think the more the better. what are you eating? I was sleeved on the 22nd am only getting about 67g, is so hard for me to add more. Would love to know ur meal Plan.
  25. Hello is it ok to drink orange juice? I am 4 days post op.? Or not yet?
