Omg I've had a couple of stucks ): I hate it. It actually makes me cry & my lovely fiancé is so supportive (: Wow what am emotional journey this is, very intense sometimes. Caution TMI coming up ... I hadnt had a "girl thing" for 6 months before my surgery... Now I've lost 10 kilos & badda bing badda boom my hormones have kicked back in & flow cam to town !! This is great news for me as my fiancé & I have been trying to have a baby for over a year. That was my main motivation for the surgery as my weight was severely effecting my fertility !! Anyways in super stoked (that means happy, in Aussie) & I hope you all are doing & feeling great ! Check back soonish ! All the best xxxxx

    February Bandsters?

Hi bandits Haven't posted in a while ! But I'm back (-: I'm sck with a terrible cold at the moment but apart from that I reckon I'd be feeling pretty good! I was bandit feb 24 2012 & I had my first fill on march 26 ... I have a 10mll band & my surgeon put in 5ml of fluid. So I'm feeling a lot of restriction now. My surgeon cleared me for the gym & high impact work puts so I joined my local the other day & lined up a PT to help get me on the right track. I lost 10kg in the first to weeks but after that I started on solids, my swelling went down & my band loosened so I was more hungry & got some strong cravings for junk food. So in the second 2 weeks post op I put back on 3 kgs but my surgeon said he was very happy with the 7kg anyway. I'm excited to properly start excersising & seeing what the future holds !!

Ewww i just skulled a vanilla optifast. They are so freakin disgusting !!!!! Why cant they taste good ???!!! The chicken Soup one was really tasty in the beginning ...... But after 12 000 of them.... Not so nice & the thought of it makes me dry reach. I much prefer thinking about cupcakes & pizza ohhhh yummmmyyyy !!!!!!! I made a big batch of chicken & corn soup & pureed it.... Added lots of chicken stock to get a nice consistency. Its really nice. I froze it in small containers & i just have one every other day so that i dont get sick of it. I also stewed a bag of apples with 1 cinnamon quill & 2 cloves. Pureed it down & its delicious too... I froze it in ice cube trays so i can just suck on a cube or defrost it whenever i feel like something sweet or need a natural energy boost. Im 8kg down and i can see a change in my body shape already. My hips are more defined coz my waist has shrunk... & My undies are not as snug as usual. Seeing results makes swallowing optifast shakes just a tiny bit easier !

Im not having any depression anymore & feel really happy most of the time apart from when im really tired.... No energy ): im taking a liquid multi vitamin with iron, its called Accomin. Hi guys Is MFP an iphone app ?? If so i cant find it ):
  11. Ask the nurse if you can have pain relief through your iv ?? Dont dispair darling, its gonna be fine. We've all been there and it sucked for all of us ...but we are all so happy now !!! My first night in the hospital post op was a friggin nightmare. The best way to feel better is by getting up and slowly walking around, put your shoulders back & take slow deep breaths. It will be hard for you to walk around if your in pain so please reconsider the pain killers, youll find when you go home you will need them so that you can sleep at night comfortably & bare taking showers etc. Have a warm bean bag handy for any pain you may experience in your left shoulder, this is where the gas sits when it dispurses from your body, keeping moving your arns up & down to help dispurse the gas. Suck on ice cubes for your dry mouth & keep a chapstick handy, just be patient hunny. When your feeling down, phone a friend or someone who is supportive & just talk it out. Cry if you need to & remember why you did thid!!! Hold on... You have made the right choice. Believe me. Xxx

    Plastic Surgery/babies

To anyone who has had a TT I am only 11 days post op. Im hoping to lose a total of 55kg (over a year or so) Im only 27 years old so im hoping alot of my skin will bound back with plenty of core work & skin firming massage but i know im still gonna have loose skin. My tummy is my main concern but i have huge boobs & i know theyre gonna be saggy ))): & my upper arms underneath are going to be floppy ))): we are planning on babies after my weightloss and i will wait until after babies for anymore surgery. I know that my eventual TT should not be my concern right now because it is such early days but i want to know now... Please tell me straight up.... How bad is the pain post op ?? What is the recovery time like ?? Thanks xxx

Depression, alot of pain, no energy, restlessness etc But now i feel like a different person, it helps of course that im starting to see results but aside from that im just feeling more & more energetic everday & hardly any discomfort now. I hope all you feb bandits are feeling good, doing well & seeing results everyday. Take care Xx
