I was banded in June of this year and tomorrow im going to have surgery on my knee. My question is: have any of u had another type of surgery after lap band and if so, did it affect the tightness of ur band?

I just had my third fill and am finding out that I'm so tight in the mornings I can't even eat eggs. What do u all who share this tightness, eat in the morning?

I was banded yesterday and am on clear liquids but my dr told me to go at my own pace. He sd if after a couple of days of clear I am doing good, then I can advance to full liquids. So, yeah there are many different opinions as to how to proceed...

Just wondering how it went sharon? I was banded today as well. I feel more pain in my back than anywhere... Guess maybe it's the gas? Other than that I'm sore but it's bearable. Today is the first day of my pre-op diet and this afternoon I was feeling good about it, but tonight when everyone else is eating real food, I'm feeling hungry..tho I know it's head hunger it's strong nonetheless. I just want pizza, is that too much to ask? I'm not cheating but man, do I want to... I'm so weak, hope I don't screw this up. How have some of u done it for 1-2 weeks? Pat ur selves on the back cause I seriously doubt I could go that long!

Wow, there are a lot of June bandsters! My surgery is tomorrow morning...getting a little nervous but excited! I want to wish u all the best of luck! I feel blessed to have found a place where I can share my journey.

I have this same problem but it will still have all ur info if u log in via computer. I hope they fix it soon!

Thanks everyone, it's nice to have others to share this with. And yes cazzy, I do know about the post op diet, I'm just venting, it helps me deal.
