I had lap band surgery in 2016. I only lost about 30 pounds total with the band. It didn't do anything to really help curb my appetite, just made eating slower and harder to do which did help me lost the small amount I did. Now 5 years later I've regained the weight and then some after having twins. I'm moving on to gastric bypass revision. Not sure when my surgery date will be but I'm in the insurance authorization phase and have my psych eval on April 22nd. Hoping to get this awful band out and revision surgery by mid-summer!
Update: Had surgery on 7/28/21 and am now down 101 pounds!!
