  2. I am home now, felt great to shower today. Not having any problems with fluids, some gas pain, but not unbearable. Incisions are very sore, but all in all nor feeling too "bad". Hope everyone else is doing well! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  3. So happy for you. I have my band to sleeve revision next Tuesday. What were your issues with the band? Did they do the revision all in one surgery or did theybremove your band previously? Im hoping it all gets done in one surgery. He said he can but you never know once they get in there. NERVOUS!!!! Glad you arent in pain! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I had it all in one surgery as well. That was my biggest worry, having to have 2 surgeries, but my surgeon said everything went perfect, no problems and not much scar tissue. I had weight regain with the band, I was also throwing up a lot and having a lot of pain when eating, all this with my band being empty. I'm so glad i made this choice! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App Its like u just wrote my symptoms. You give me hope!!!!!! How long did your surgery last??? Im SOOO HAPPY they did it all at one time! Woowooo Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App The surgery took about 2 hours, when I woke up the first thing I asked was if I was sleeved and the nurse gave me thumbs up. Feeling so much better today, been walking around and eating ice chips. Minimal pain. All in all I'm feeling really good so far! Fingers crossed it will be the same for you Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App

Am having my "breakfast" as I type this. One ounce diet cranberry and one ounce berry isopure. So far so good! Getting my catheter out in an hour and then hopefully it will be easier to get around! 11. Hi my surgery is scheduled for July 18th also. Are you on the liquid diet also. It is no fun. Wish you well. Twyla Sent from my N9518 using the BariatricPal App My surgery date is also July 18th. I don't have to do a liquid diet but I have to try to consume less than 40 g of carbs a day. I'm so excited. Wishing you both the best and looking forward to reading your updates. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I'm also July 18th, my Dr. requires a one week pre-op diet consisting of protein shakes for breakfast and lunch and a under 300 calorie lean cuisine for dinner. I can have sugar free jello, pudding and popsicles for snacks in between. I start Monday, this should be interesting! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  12. Just picked up some biotene at CVS, thanks again for the tip! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App

How did you get your answer?

I called cignas automated voice system every day, it took exactly 5 days to get approved, they received it on Monday and it was approved Friday, then took another week for my surgeons office to get the approval and schedule surgery. July 18th for me! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  14. Just got my date, surgeon had an opening July 18th so I jumped on it, that means I'm only 10 days away, so crazy! Good luck to all of you and let me know if you have any questions! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  15. Thank you for the information! I thought I was going to have an August date, but my surgeons office called today and have an opening July 18th, so 10 days for me fir my band to sleeve revision! I have a one week pre-op diet that starts Monday and all my tests are going to be Wed and I should be cleared for the 18th! So excited and nervous at the same time! Have a date - Ready to talk

Congrats! I am looking at a late July/early August date myself, hoping to get my date soon! Good luck on your journey! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  17. My husband and I are both getting band to sleeve revisions. The Dr wants to wait a month between surgeries, but we are hoping for 3 weeks. Hopefully late July and mid August. We got our approvals Friday so just playing the waiting game for our surgery dates, hoping to hear tomorrow!! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  18. Called my insurance yesterday and I am officially approved! Hopefully my surgeons office will be calling Tuesday with a surgery date!! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  19. My insurance received my paperwork today, they said I should have an approval/denial in 5 business days! Can't wait to actually have the surgery scheduled, having a solid date would make it "real" !! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  20. Hey Nina, how did your surgery go? How has the recovery been so far? Hope you are doing well! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  21. I am (hopefully) getting my band out and my sleeve in one surgery. The DR says there is a slight chance that the scar tissue might be too severe to do them both in one surgery, if that's the car I'd have to wait 2 months until I get sleeved, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he can do it all at once, I've already had 2 gastric surgeries and really don't want two more!! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  22. I had an appointment with my surgeon today and they are submitting to my insurance for an early August surgery date (TBD), I'm hoping for a quick approval but the surgeon thinks they might try to fight it because my BMI is a 39, but because I'm a band to sleeve revision (after a slip and band failure) he's confident it will be approved! Now the waiting game begins! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  23. I know about them because of the forum, but I am scheduled for surgery in August and nope, nothing about them from the surgical team yet! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  24. I have always wanted to go zip lining, but always let my weight hold me back, I can't wait to try it!! Sent from my SM-G925T using the BariatricPal App
  25. My husband and I are going through this process together as well. We meet with the surgeon for the 2nd time Friday and are going to discuss dates for our surgeries. They are requiring we get them a month apart because of our 2 year old daughter. I'm excited to be able to go thru this process with my partner, this way we can keep each other honest and don't have to worry about the other eating things we can't.
