AGHHHHHHHHH... my dr doesnt fill till 8 weeks out . mine is scheduled for teh 28th .. but i am gainging quick and eating just like before i asm active but not like o want to be due to some pain/infection under my tummy flap . that i cant seem to get healed . i see teh numbers on teh scale rise and i feel awefull and upset and go right to teh food ughhh . i lost soem much before surgery . why cant i get a hold of my eating and my dr is notorious for being mean and having horrible bedside manner( teh best surgeon around though) so now i have built up anxiety about even going to the filll ... for teh first time since i started this process i wonder if i made teh right choice .....

ohh yeah for got i lost 9 pounds since surgery ! wichis funny cause i lost about 13 probley but put on a lil when i started solids and stuff i totally thinght i was doing awefull and teh dr was so proud lol

it went good he put in 3cc even and then set me up with the tube/needle still atached and gave me water to drink he talked to me about what i was feeling while the water moved through my system at one point i felt like it was stuck in my chest right between my breast i looked up at him and before i could say oh my god it hurts im chocking he had taken some out . while still making total eyecontact he asked me to tell him when the uncomfortable feeling was gone i did and he unhooke dteh tube/needle and i was done i left feeling fine with 2.5 cc my sister got up on teh table right after me and he did teh same thing she didnt have the scary chocking feeling iidid and she nlow has 2.7 in her band and is fine too i didnt feel iany pain from the needle it was a lil uncomfortable for a second or two when he had to "dig a sec " for my port it was a lil tipped down . but not pain just weird pressure my sissy was easy to acsess aND SAID SHE DIDNT FEEL A THING. we are on clears yesterdaY AND TODAY AND FULLS FOR TWO DAYS ..i came home yesterday exhausted not from teh fill but from psyching myself up teh whole day lol .. i felt full last night after some broth and an icee it was teh strangest feeling like ok i dont have to eat anymore i wanna cry just thinking about i have never had that feeling ...

well tomorrow is the big day im gettin filled yahhh i go in the afternoon my sister is having her first fill the same day so we are both excited anyone got any tips>>>> its in teh afternoon so i iwll jumo on tomorrow night and tell everyone how it went

mushies are dangerous i blend things that just are groos and love every second mmmmm beenie weenie..... be carefull

i am so glad i posted on here thanks to everyone .. my problem has always been portyion although i can make bad food choices my bigger issue is how much i eat . i thinkim a real food addict which is why therapy has been a big part of my process.. i mean sure yogurt is great for you but when you eat 5 conatiners ..not so great beforei strated this it was not unusual for oen meal to roll right into the next befor ei was done eating oen thing my mind was already planning what i would eat next . i dont have that issue now the long period of strict pre surg diet cure dthat soo farrr anyway . thank you all i love this site !!!!

b52, you didnt bumm me out i posted on here cause i really needed advise i think im freaking out and upset and needed step back and realize how this all works like ou said i did the research and know about how hard this time is like taht being said nothing i read prepared me for putting on weight that i had just lost so quickly that being said i made an apointmant with my therapaist ..cazy that padding idea is a good one i tried gauze there and teh flap is so severe you cant even se eteh padding i even put a hygeine pad there (thats what they did after my c-section .) it just get too looking ...well angry . im gonna see dr again on teh 28 th fro my fuill and ill get some ideas from him . thanks to both of you !!!!

i live in springhill and dr grossbard did my band on feb 17 2012 i have my first fill i hear he has awefull bedside manner .. anyone else hear that

ughh my first fill is on teh 28th and i need it sooo bad im gaining fast but i hate pain lol

i am doing pretty good i have a gas pain that moves around my torso lol i have been chasing it since yesterday lol the only releif i get is to get on treadmill on lowest setting and walk it out ! my sister is having alot of gastro discomfort but i am not thus far i am however a lil confused by my body .. i get a acidy weird gurgling that normally i would feed but im not sure thats what it menas now!
