  1. I got my first fill about 2 weeks ago. Once I started eating solids again I started to feel this uncomfortable "stuck" feeling in the middle of my chest, like the food is not going down but only the first few bites. I know I'm not supposed to drink Water during a meal but this is the only thing that helps the food go down further. Once it passes I don't drink water for the rest of the meal and everything is fine. This happens at every meal and like I said it's only the first few bites. I have tried smaller bite sizes and chewing the hell out of every bite but it doesn't seem to matter. I have another doc appointment next week and will address this but was just wondering if anyone has gone through this.

  2. I am almost 4 weeks post-op. Weight lose is going good but just a few days ago I started getting very bad abdominal pain. I was already having gas pressure/discomfort. I was using gas x strips and it helped a little as the days went by the pain was getting worse so I tried the chewable gas relief thinking it would help. For the last 2 days now it doesn't feel like the same gas pain. The pain is in my upper abdomen on the right and left side. My left side hurts more. I have to brace myself to when I take deep breaths. The pain is similar to the pain after you run and just feels like a stabbing pain, when you try to breath. In the day prior to this major pain, my muscles felt like they were tightening and it would come and go. I walk around hunched over and sometimes it hurts when I burp. I exercise but nothing strenuous yet and have started any ab routines. It's Sunday, today and I plan on calling my doc first thing Monday. Luckily, I have some pain meds left over from surgery. That seems to be the only thing helping me tolerate it. I was just wondering if this is normal and if anyone else has gone through this. Any suggestion would be helpful...

    Thank you, Nat
