LOL, Me too... It's better than nothing tho. At least they have in house financing. It also got the process done a lot faster. Only took about a month to get everything done and surgery scheduled, I guess I can't complain.

They put me on something similar to the Atkins diet last Monday and I havne't lost a pound...I'm so mad about that. My insurance is only covering half so I have to finance $5500 of it, and that was approved right away, so there wasn't any phone calls.

I wasn't able to go to the I guess it was the seminar since it was during the day when I work...Other than that I went last Monday for the EGD test, and that's the last we talked, other than them faxing me financing paperwork. My surgeon is Dr Benavides with True Results in Richardson Tx.

I'm super excited for mine tomorrow. Not excited for the gas issue though. Is that the only pain your feeling? They told me I can come back to work on Monday, so I'm hoping that's the case, since I had to finance half the surgery.

    True Results...

I read that on another post you commented on. So far I haven't had any communication with them really...My surgery is tomorrow, and I'm very excited. How did it go for you? How are you felling? I still have so much to learn, like what is the post op diet they recommend? I have no idea. I'm assuming they'll tell me tomorrow. I hope your doing well. Anything imput you can give me would be great.
  11. I think my body just wants to hold on to every oz of fat for as long as it can...heck we've been apart of each other almost our whole life lol... I don't have a cycle anymore but good thought tho... I'm going to stay positive have my surgery Thursday and do everything I'm supposed to and hopefully I'll see some progress.
  12. I'm questioning my serving size after thinking about it...For breakfast I have an Atkins shake, lunch chicken breast deli lunch meat and lf shring cheese (not sure how much I'm eating) I do need to get a scale, then for dinner lately I've been making salads, but that might be where I'm messing up. I made a taco salad one night, chef salad another. Maybe I'm having to much meat. I can have all the green veggies I want. Well, there's only 2 days til surgery. I'll get a scale and do better on my portions. Hopefully that will help.
  13. I think what I'll do even though my surgery is Thursday is just go on liquids now until then. Can't hurt anything.
  14. That's what I've noticed with other newbies, is they were all put on a liquid diet, and mine put me on Adkins. Weird?!?!

The company I work for is lucky to offer us insurance, so I'm not going to complain I guess. I wish it would all be covered tho....What scares you about Richarson?

Wow, I have United Health Care too, but they will only cover 50% so I have to pay $5500 that I'm financing with them.

    Help...post Op Grocery List...

I was given this list by "waitingpatiently"...I hope it helps and good luck Friday!! Digital scale Blender (consider the ones that you can blend using a travel mug) I bought this one at walmart for $79 http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do?search_constraint=0&ic=48_0&Find.x=0&Find.y=0&Find=Find&_ta=1&search_query=ninja%20kitchen%20system%20pulse&_tt=ninja Chewable Calcium Chewable Daily Vitamin Gas X Liquid Tylenol Benefiber (I mix this with the kellog’s protein mix below) http://www.walmart.com/ip/Benefiber-Kiwi-Strawberry-Flavored-Fiber-Drink-Mix-Stick-Packs-24ct/17325206 Metamucil Clean and Clear Stage 1 clear liquids Protein Power: This is just going to be trail an error. Looks like the most popular are (Unjury, Jay Robin, Premiere, NewWhey Canned Chicken Broth (the night before your surgery, consider simmering it with some veggies like carrots, onions, potatoes, even some of your favorite herbs. I would leave all the veggies in the broth until the next day. Then have someone strain them off, saving the broth for you) Favorite Soups Consider lower salt versions (use the larger size cans of soup if they make them in your band. Then mix a couple of cans of chicken or beef broth with your favorite soup. simmer and strain) SF Jello (both premade for convenience and boxed for when you feel like making it) SF Popsicles Pedialyte Popsicles Kellogs water ready protein mix (link below) http://www.walmart.com/ip/Special-K2O-Strawberry-Kiwi-Protein-Water-Mix-4.7-oz-10ct/10891803 SF Water Flavors (Crystal Light, Great Value, Etc) Gatorade G2 or Propell Hebal Tea Diet Fruit Juices NSA-Carnation Instant Breakfast Mix Skim Milk Stage 1-Full Liquid -All of the above+ Cream Soups (thinned with water or skim milk) (consider sprinkling ½ scoop of unflavored protein power into soup and blend…watch the temp of the soup….the protein power may clump at high temps.) SF Pudding (premixed for convenience and boxed for later) Yogurt (thinned out) (light or greek) blend well Baby Foods (add a jar of baby food fruit with your protein powder and thin with water or skim milk) Stage 2-Puree Egg Substitute Oatmeal (thinned) Grits (thinned) Applesauce other Fruit Sauces Canned Fruit- juice packed Instant Mashed
