Anyone Here Use True Results - Richardson, Texas?

It is my understanding that you don't actually "apply" until you have meet all of your insurance requirements. My requirements are a 4 month multidisciplinary surgical preparatory regimen, 2 visits with dietician, ekg, blood work, weight history from primary care physician and psych evaluation. They are planning on submitting to insurance the first of May, and hopefully I get approval in 1-2 weeks which would then allow me to have surgery on June 1. Good luck to you.

Anyone Here Use True Results - Richardson, Texas?

I am using True Results in Richardson as well. I have aetna and will have to have my surgery done at Trophy Club. My surgeon is Dr Fox and we are tentatively scheduled for June 1. I have completed my 2nd visit. For my third, I will have my ekg, blood work and psych eval done. The staff at True Results are amazing. They have made me feel very comfortable at both of my appointments so far.
  4. I have aetma and they do cover WLS. The problem now is I have sleep apenea, but it is really mild. Other than high cholesterol and history of DVTs, I have no other comorbidities. So we are going with BMI over 40. Well at my first visit, my BMI was 39.9 (I had of course been trying another diet). Today, my BMI was 40.1. My problem is around 2010, I was doing sugar busters and had lost 10-15 pounds. So when they got my medical records from my Primary Care doctor and my GYN, my BMI in 2010 is too low. They have told me they are going to submit my 2009 and 2011 weights and say they couldn't find documentation for 2010. Anyone else's doctors offices do this? My insurance advocate told me not to worry, but I am.

    What Was Your Turning Point?

Mine was when my husband, 6ft 1in, ask to wear a brown belt of mine and it fit him. He had his 3rd bandirversary in Feb. Then and there I decided I needed to do something that works. I was at 244, even heavier than when I was pregnant with either of my kiddos.
