Nothing to worry about,does not hurt one bit. She has us raise our legs off the table a little kinda like a leg lift which helps to push the stomach muscles to the top making the port easier to find. Needle is so small you never feel it. No pain shot used either, it is not needed band aid, and your done your kids shots hurt worse. Then at my Dr.s you drink water to make sure you are not to tight then your are free to go.

my surgery is friday i was just told to continue with diet, and slowly add in clear liquids what were you given any help would be wonderful I'm starving!! thanks good luck everyone

crystal light, mio, At walmart i get the body fortress whey Protein, I was told adult only Vitamins that you can chew. yvonne74 thanks I'm glad i'm not the only one who is feeling this way, and at first my husband was really supportive but now he is saying just eat,and stuff like that and i keep telling him that i need him to support me not feed me. Just gotta make it to next week. I've not cheated yet, hope i can stay strong! good luck to us all!

Day three of pre op I hate this. I broke down and cried this morning after I yelled at everyone in the house over nothing. I am so hungry and I have a headache and bad taste I can't get rid of. But I have lost 8 pounds. I keep telling myself if i gotta do this. I 'd kill a piece of food of anykind even a veggie.

be happy for yourself, you are lucky you now have the tool you need to be healthy and happy. Don't let anyone get you down. People can be so mean, think of this part of your life as a new start and enjoy every day. Good luck!!

I had my appt with the surgeon and the nutritionist and psych on Feb 13 approved Feb 16th the surgery is set for March 16th. Going to be starting the liquid diet part next week no solids just shakes but this is something i have to do. Good luck Everyone
